Chapter 5

I'm sure you all notice the big leap in style change. I'm getting creative doing it on the fly from all locations with my trusty school-approved laptop. Yeah, I write in class as well, but I'm not failing.

Grammer is still below par, so I hope you all will either ignore or comment if the grammar is too much. It will help the process.

This is Chapter 5 and it has gone down. I feel like I'm getting better at doing these types of things and I'm super proud of the next two chapters.

TWO CHAPTERS.

TWO CHAPTERS EVERY TIME I PUBLISH.

WOOOOOOO.

One, of course, is on wattpad, and the second one is on Inkitt. I'm trying it out, so go check out there as well. The link is on my profile description and like this profile sucks with photos. If it doesn't work message me, but don't worry because in a few days I'm publishing that second chapter here. I took this idea and I love it to get active and give you guys a lot from another wattpader, so I didn't just get this idea out of the blue. I'll tell you guys who it was from later on, but for now.

Get to know Emerald. (Comment and vote, please. I feel so lonely)

The door slid shut as he saunters to his desk placed exactly in the middle of the room and slides on his chair perfectly. He was angry, sneered at every turn as I took a seat right in front of him like a child in trouble, but the air was different. I was holding the air of a superior and he was holding the air of the child in trouble because he was. He waited for me as three minutes passed of darkness. When my full attention was back, he was flaming.

"Do you know what you just did?" Come on the wrong day, want to get free from any human-made structure, yes I know. I tell him nothing; I show him nothing.

"You almost cost me my job. My likelihood and endangered everything I have built." 'I', 'my', 'me'. Always about yourself. He wasn't worried about all the actual dangers that could come from me leaving but from the dangers of his life. All those small unimportant dangers.

The principal was a harsh man. Strict, but who isn't anymore? His whole being looked young on the service. Polished face, perfect hair, tidy clothes. But he was getting old. No one can escape time. I made sure of that.

He had a wife and two kids. I know them personally from an incident 400 years ago. I was a bit surprised to hear the family line had actually survived that long. Apparently, I was such an influential person that my existence was passed down through the generation and the grandmother of the principal knew who I was, even had asked if I wanted to be adopted by them this time around. I refused of course, but I go occasionally to visit them, mostly when it's my birthday. I had raised him, this principle, but I didn't teach him. It wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't entirely good, but no one is. No matter how much they try.

His kids were sweethearts, actually, envision them having a future without this influence of selfishness and business. Their mother is so tolerant, has to be if she married him. He doesn't care though. His mind is full business, full survival mode. For a family as lowly as a principal family, he has to be. He has to take care of his family and hopefully get them to a higher class, a promise I made with him.

"Emerald. I warned you. Time and time again. You can't do anything at all." He had. Everyday. I would always get a message, a lot, a glare, maybe a lecture. You can never mess up Emerald. You know what happens. I kind of want to tell him that what happens just happens, see his reactions, but I already know his reaction. Fear.

I wave him off. He doesn't need to tell me twice which increases his anger, but he says nothing. He knows he can't, because I'm his superior. With a sigh, he asks the robot form some drinks and snacks that soon appear after his words. We both munch on them for some while as he mulls his mind over and decides his next action. I decide my words. He was still angry, but he wouldn't do something drastic. That means that the duo was my next worry.
