Ku decides that bringing Sasha along to training would do nobody any harm. She came along but stays several steps behind, knowing well that Owen didn't like the fact that she's back.
At training, Ku makes sure that Sasha is comfortable in the treehouse room before announcing that she's back. The teens then have a HUGE argument about it.
Alex, Ava, and Brenton verses Owen and Urana, just as everyone could have predicted. Ku sighs, seeing that the argument has made its way into them working together. They are currently being defeated by easy tricks, which they were beating just fine yesterday.
"You should've told them, after training," Amy shrugs, rolling her eyes at the performance below.
"Alex and Owen already knew, they would have told them regardless and I rather they hear it from me anyway," Ku counters.
"Good point," Amy agrees with a nod of her head. "But how are they going to overcome this? Sasha is set on avoiding them and those guys are all in a fit."
"Oh for the love of fiddlesticks," Ku groans. "They are fighting each other and not the enemy at hand."
Ku turns around, fed up with the fact that they let their arguments so easily take over their ability to work together.
He turns back around and presses the button to project his voice into the dome. "Might I remind you that you all are dead? Learn how to accept your differing opinions already! I thought we covered this way back when!" Ku stops himself from losing his temper, it could be considered borderline yelling though. And he knows that Alex and Owen are sensitive to yelling.
"You really think they'll understand?" Amy sighs. "I guess I'll go talk to them, maybe share a story or two."
Ku scoffs. "As if they would listen in the first place," he rolls his eyes before pressing the button again. "I want one hundred laps around the dome with the enemy chasing behind!"
All they hear are groans and Ku pulls up a chair to sit in, rubbing his temples.
"Don't stress over them Sensei," Amy offers a kind smile. "It's just a bump in the road, they'll get through it."
"I sure do hope so," Ku sighs. "There are many ways for them to get killed if they do not get their act together soon."
"You're not wrong," Amy looks back out at the teens running while yelling at each other. "You're not wrong at all..."
Meanwhile, Sasha sits inside the treehouse room, looking at all of the pictures placed on the walls. She focuses more on the newer photos that showed the teens. They looked fine, happy, and carefree in most of them.
They sure do look a lot better without her.
Sasha speculates why she even came here. She should've just stayed away, there would be a lot less arguing anyway. Sasha could hear the yelling of the teens at one point which only made her speculate further about why she came here.
Maybe it was her magic that wanted to so desperately connect with its other parts or maybe it was just because she was lonely. It wouldn't be the first time that she's lonely but she handled that pretty well, so it couldn't be loneliness.
I keep remembering...remembering...
It was definitely her magic's fault for coming here. Sasha remembers clearly the pull she felt towards the other teens. She didn't like the feeling of so many things being missing in her life that she decided to follow her magic.
Surely it knows what it's doing right? Is what Sasha keeps on thinking to herself. If it didn't...well, she could deal with that later but for now, she's going to try her best to fix what she broke.
