The lake house was pure bliss. Two weeks of just my friends and I, no parents, no rules, tons of parties, and plenty of males to gain my attention. "ALEXA, LETS GO OR ELSE WE WON'T GET TO CLAIM THE MASTER" I yelled as I repeatedly hit the horn making my annoyance well known. My mom's suburban was packed with the crew: Isabelle, Maebrie, Danyelle, and Roriee. As always, we were waiting for Alexa to bless us with her presence, when she did decide to actually show up.
"Shut up, I'm here, just go before Max and the pack leave" she said after hopping in the passenger seat and taking control of the aux cord.
Max was Alexa's neighbor, and not only her neighbor in town but at the lake as well. Max's crew consisted of four other guys, who were the absolute definition of annoying, egotistical assholes: David, Crash, Alex, and Gaige. Crash and I had a pretty nasty falling out, which basically ended in me maiming his car, and him cheating on me with the known school skank. Even if we were an on again off again couple it was still wrong for him to cheat especially since we were dating and not on a break at the time. It was all called for in my opinion, how often do you get to take a sledgehammer to a Camaro? After a couple of swings, that bad boy just doesn't look good any more.
Walking in on Crash with Maziee was probably the best worst day of my life, I left the asshole who I had devoted obviously too much time to, and got my heart broken within .2 seconds, but the worst part was the fact that I knew how he was and how he was capable of doing that to me without feeling any remorse. But in the end, our groups of friends were the same, everyone mingled but nothing got serious between any of the other members of the crew. High school parties release what everyone keeps pent up, including the sexual tension, and after a few drinks anything can happen. Drunk words are sober thoughts.

After a nice long 4 hour drive (should have been 6 but I was totally not speeding) we made it to Tablerock. "Remind me again why we decide to travel this far?" Roriee complained.
"The time it takes for a parental unit to travel and give us notice equals the perfect amount of time to fix and clean anything if needed" Belle responded.
"Belle, next time try not to sound like a computer will you?" Danyelle began.
I pulled into the gravel driveway, "What. The. Hell." I said as we approached. There was a dark tinted Range Rover sitting in the middle of the drive. "I know for a fact, none of those assholes would drive their Rover to Tablerock."
"That's because it's not them. It's James and a few guests." Brie began. "I hope y'all don't mind"
"Depends, are the hot?" I asked jokingly only to be met by a dead serious stare from Brie.
"If you tell James I will deny it, but yes, it's some group from Australia his dad is working with. They needed some time to be kids and since they're not popular or anything he said they could stay here."
"AND YOU DECIDED TO TELL US NOW?!?!" Roriee screeched.
"Damn, Brie, a little warning next time." Alexa said, covering her ears.
I pulled down the vanity mirror, giving myself a once over. Hell, it wasn't going to get any better after driving for four hours. "Do they know we know they're here?" I questioned Brie.
She shook her head, "Um, no, they thought they were getting the entire house to themselves, so play nice please."
"Well ladies we have the art of surprise so I say we use it to our advantage. I got out of the car and slipped out of my shirt, revealing my black strapless bikini top and leaving me in my extremely short jean shorts and gladiators. I took the elastic out of my blonde hair that was in a messy bun, letting the hair fall into my natural beachy waves, and then finally placing my sunglasses on top of my head.
The girls followed suit. "Let's make an entrance, shall we?" My signature smirk crept onto my face. I followed the girls in through the screened porch door.
"James!" Brie cried out.
"Hey babe." He replied. 'Nothing romantic about that one there buddy boy.' I thought to myself. James and Brie were always extremely awkward. One because Brie was just an awkard person in general and because James was just plain weird in my book.
"Uh James? Who are they?" A boy with curly brown hair asked.
"Oh, boys, this is my girlfriend Maebrie, and her friends. Bridget, Alexa, Isabelle, Danyelle, and Roriee. They'll be staying in the same house."
"So I guss that means we'll be roomates." The one with green hair began. "I'm Michael but you can call me Mikey. The curly brunette one is Ashton, the blonde's Luke, and the one on the couch is Calum.
"Well Mikey" I began, walking up and placing my hand on his shoulder, "we'll be roomates but we're not sharing a room."
His smile shrunk, "You'll be begging to be my roomate but the end of tonight sweet heart."
I laughed and removed my hand, "only in your dreams babe." I put emphasize on the end of my sentence just to mess with him.
"But speaking of tonight," Brie spoke up, "Noize Pollution is in full swing. At least that's what my contacts are telling me."
"What's Noize Pollution?" Ashton looked at her with his eyebrows squished in the middle of his face.
"Only the first party of the summer. It's a complete rager that takes place across the lake. It's huge." Alexa answered. "We need to get ready if we're going to go."
"Have y'all already claimed rooms?" I asked.
"No, we got here a few minutes before you guys did." Calum answered. Alexa and I shared a sideways glance.
"Oh in that case, Alexa and I call the master. You guys understand don't you? We have a lot of stuff." I explained.
Calum and Mikey looked back between us and before they could do anything Alexa and I took off for the stairs at a mad dash to get to the room. We only had one almost face plant but made it there with the boys on our heels. "Thanks so much. We appreciate it." Alexa smiled sheepishly.
"Just take it as a one time thing. The offer's still on the table if you ever feel the need." Mikey said before turning around.
"I won't but word of advice, tonight will kick your ass if you're a light weight."
"What makes you think we're light weights?" Calum questioned.
"Just wait and see. Do you play beer pong?"
"All the time. You're looking at the reigning champ."
"Correction. YOU'RE looking at the reigning champ." I answered, narrowing my eyes.
"I guess we'll see tonight and when I have to carry you home, don't try anything." He smiled and turned on his heel going to claim whatever room was left open in the house.
