Has someone taken your faith? It's real, the pain you feel, you trust, you must, confess
"Ugh, change the song already, it's making me depressed." Alexa whined.
"What song do you want then? Every song I've played you've complained it has some emotion downfall to your subconcious and it's starting to get really annoying."
Thumbing through my phone I continued to search for a song that Alexa couldn't complain about.
"Just play something that will put me in my party mood."
"Yes master. Your wish is my command."
Giving me what was supposed to be a threatening glare, Alexa shook her head, "You're such a pain in the ass."
I smiled at my best friend, "Of course I am. Who else could put up with you and be completely normal?"
A knock sounded at our door and I glanced at the clock, "What time are we leaving?" I questioned as Alexa got up to answer the door.
"Uh, 10:30ish, at least that's what I'm guessing."
"Wow, Lex, you are the absolute best help." I turned my back to the door and started to sway my hips to the new song. "Should I go with cute girl next door or slutty party chic?" I wasn't really expecting an answer, but knowing Alexa would have some input to my crisis.
So do what you want. What you want with my body. Do what you want don't stop let's party.
I sang along with the words, letting my body get more into the music. "I personally like what you're wearing now."
"Yeah, like I would wear this to a party. We were in a car forever. I'm changing." I answered only to realize Alexa had left the room and a certain tall blonde boy was perched in the door frame.
"Well, you better hurry, we're leaving in five."
I raised my eyebrows, "Demanding aren't we? It's just across the lake. We've got time."
Luke sported a lazy smile, "I'm just telling you what I was told."
"Here's a tip, Aussie, we go to the parties I want, when I want. I've got the connections and no one knows who you are. I've got a reputation here, and I'm the only one who can drive the boat legally." I gave him a quick wink and pushed him out the door.
"Well, blondie, looks like we have a lot to learn about each other." He spun on his heel and called over his shoulder, "Leaving in three!"
I rolled my eyes, slipping on a pair of my American Eagle shorts and and tank top. My hair was already down so I left the beachy waves and placed my sunglasses on top of my head. Not exactly girl next door but not slutty, that's for sure. Something in me wanted to gain Luke's attention but at the same time to show him my life style.
"Bridget! We're leaving!" Voices screamed from the living room.
"Okay! Okay! I'm coming!" I ran from my room, but instead of running down the stairs I slid down the banaster.
"What are you? Four?" Danyelle began.
"Four and a half thank you." I spouted back.
She stuck her tongue out and headed for the boat. The boys let out a laugh.
"She's a sassy one" Calum said nudging Luke in the process.
"Are you boys just going to stand there and admire my wit or are we actually going to go party because I'm honestly fine either way." I said flipping my hair off my shoulder.
"Lead the way" Mikey said throwing his arm around Isabelle. She threw a sideways glance at him, but let his arm remain across her shoulders. Alexa raised her eyebrows and I turned to guide the group down to the dock. Oh this was going to be a great summer.

The boat's clock read 11:30, and the party was in full swing. Drunk teenagers in the middle of a lake was probably a very bad idea but fun comes at a cost now a days.
One of the pontoons were blasting Sage the Gemini from the speakers mounted in the center of the boat. The one perk of having our party boat (totally worth the expense by the way) was it was large enough for dancing. We only allowed certain people access and everyone wanted to gain the attention of our crew.
James, along with Brie, and the boys decided to stay on the upper deck out of the way of the dancing below. Laughter errupted from above and I glanced at Alexa.
We had about 15 people on the boat and it was reaching maximum capacity. Everyone was having a great time. Drinks, dancing, what could go wrong right?
"You'll never guess who's trying to get on the boat right now." Alexa giggled. It was obvious she was passed tipsy but so was I and we didn't need anyone drowning the first night.
"Who?" I looked around, and right as the word slipped from my mouth I saw five boys push the random guys off to make room for them with drinks in their hands.
"Hey, babe, we've - we've been looking for you." A hand reached around my waist. "Dance with me."
Crash and the boys had a few drinks in them too, but I wasn't a saint and my drunk goggles were on tight.
"Wha- what makes you think I... Want to dance with you?" I said, a giggle escaping my lips.
He dead panned. "Because I was stupid. What I did was stupid. I miss you, Bridge."
Alexa was already dancing with David and the other girls seemed occupied. What would one dance hurt?
