Kiara and Kovu's pride

Part 2

Kiara's POV

I opened my eyes, and saw that the sun was rising. Everyone was getting up. Kovu got up from beside me, and stretched. I couldn't help but laugh a little.

"What's so funny?", Kovu asked.

I smiled, "You, you're so cute". Kovu nuzzled me.

"I can't wait till we're married", said Kovu.

"Me too. I have to go now I told Vitani that I was going to take her to try out for the hunting party". I quickly nuzzled kovu, and ran to a corner of the cave where Vitani was laying. "Hey Vitani, are you ready to try out for the hunting party?"

"As ready as I'll ever be", said Vitani.

Vitani and I excited the cave. We walked over to where the hunting party was hunting. We walked over to a group of lioness's. "Hey Adia, do you mind if my friend here joins the hunting party?"

"I'll have to see how good she is at hunting. I want you to hunt down a hare", said Adia.

Vitani nodded, "Okay".

I started walking away.

"Kiara, where are you going?", Vitani asked.

I smiled, "I have to get back to pride rock". I turned around and left.

Vitani's POV

I watch as Kiara walked away. I turned my attention back to the other lionesses. "So all I have to do is catch a hare?"

Adia nodded, "yes".

I started stalking through the grass. I spotted a family of hares in a clearing. I stalked over to them until I couldn't go any further with out them seeing me. I jumped out of the tall grass, startling the hares. The scattered everywhere. I chased after the smallest hare. It kept trying to zigzag away from me. I pounced, and landed on it killing it instantly. I brought my kill back to the other lionesses. They all stared at me.

"That was great, you did a great job", said Adia.

I smiled, "thank you".

"May I ask what your name is?", Adia asked.

"My name is Vitani, I'm Kovu's sister.

"Wait the future king is your brother?", Adia asked.

I nodded,"yes". The other lionesses started chuckling. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, It's just your brothers so hot", said Adia

"Yeah, the princess is so lucky to have Kovu", said another lioness.

"So do you want to join us on the hunt today?", Adia asked.

I smiled, "sure".

Kiara's POV         

When I entered Pride Rock I saw Zuri was fast asleep, Kovu was sitting beside her. I walked over to him. "How's she doing?".

"She's doing fine", said Kovu.

Kovu had his head on his paws. "you look really bored".

"I've been waiting for you for hours", said Kovu.

"Kovu, I've only been gone ten minutes".

"It felt longer", said Kovu.

I nuzzled him, "I love you".

Kovu smiled, "I love you too".

"I'll get my mom to watch Zuri, and then we can go for a walk". I went to go find my mother. I found her sitting on a rock behind pride rock. I walked over to her. "Hey mom, can you do something for me?".
