Chapter 1

(???)'s pov.

For many years I have lived trapped in my own prison. For many years I was powerless.

But now...

I am gaining my powers back.

I can feel the fear in children's hearts...

It's simply making me..overjoyed.

Soon, Guardians, soon.....

The world will be mine again....

Miriam's pov.

I was watching my beloved daughter play in the fields of the Warren. A soft smile was on my face as I saw Hope chase some of the little eggs like she's running out of time. I then felt a strange feeling. It wasn't something pleasant, more like...warning. The feeling, whatever it was, was trying to tell me something. That something bad was about to happen.

Then I saw it. The flowers and the grass in the Warren started wilting. I then heard Hope scream and I started sprinting in the direction where the sound came from. But what I saw horrified me.

Hope was being chased by a Nightmare.

I wasted no time and summoned the Gaster Blasters and shot at the Nightmare. Hope then ran at me crying and I embraced her in a tight hug. Bunnymund then quickly jumped to our side, he must've heard Hope's scream.

"Are you alri't? What happened?" he desperately asked. I looked at him and furrowed my eyes in seriousness.

"We need to go to the North pole and summon the rest of the Guardians."

"What? Why?"

"Hope was just attacked by a Nightmare, beloved."

At my words him face went pale and he quickly created a hole in the ground. I used my magic to transform me into my clothes that I wore on missions (the same outfit as in the first story) and used the 3DMG to fly through the tunnels with Hope in my arms, still crying.

"Are you sure it was a Nightmare, shiela? You know that-"

"That we defeated Pitch a long time ago, I know. But I saw it with my own eyes. Pitch is regaining power and we must take action immediantely."

Soon we arrived at the North pole right becide North. He looked happy and surprised at the same time.

"Bunny! Miriam! What brings you here?" he asked cheerfully, but when he saw our faces his smile fell. I briefly told him what happened and he pulled the lever that summoned the Northen lights, the sign for the Guardians to come immediantely.
