Noone's pov.

Miriam and Jack were sitting in a cold cell, cuffs on their wrists that had an enchantment, preventing them from using their powers. While Miriam was looking at the cold stone ground, rethinking everything she had ever done, Jack was trying to look for any kind of an exit.

Once Jack realised that the small barred window wouldn't be of any use, he resorted to trying to bust the metal door open.

Keyword: trying.

"It won't be any use, child." an deep and raspy male voice said.

Both of their heads snapped to where the noise came from and saw that in a cell next to them was a tanned skinned man with dark hair (I kind of imagined the man like Tonraq, Korra's dad).

"Save your streangh, my boy." the man said. "You are going to need it for the upcoming battle."

"Upcoming battle?" Miriam questioned. "What are you talking about?"

"The Queen of the Night has chosen to free Pitch Black from his prison to help her find the little princess."

"But we saw signs that Pitch had already escaped. The burn marks-" Jack said.

"They were a distraction to let you on a wild goose chase." the man cut Jack off. "And because I knew this, I ended up in this sell."

"I'm sorry." the Guardian Angel whispered to the man.

"Don't be." the man said, getting his hand through the bars and placing a hand on her cheek in a fatherly way. "It was never your fault."

"....who are you exactly?" Miriam asked quietly. The man then sighed.

"...my name is Jacob. I used to be the Queen's right hand. That is... before (Y/n)'s child, who was also my niece, dissapeared.

"Wait! You knew Lauga?" Jack exclaimed.

"Yes. Yes I did.....once." Jacob replied.

"If you don't mind me asking....what happened?" Miriam asked. The older man then sighed.

"I suppose I could." he then created a magic aura "Well I guess I should start from the beggining...

A long, long time ago, when the world was just created, there lived four god like beings - Father Time, Mother Nature, Zenaida and (Y/n) Artemis.

Even though they were together, as a family. At the same time they were separated. While Father Time spent more time teaching Zenaida how to rule over the New Kingdom, the gentle Mother Nature spent time with the beautiful and kind hearted (Y/n).

Everyone admired (Y/n) for those qualities. She would give a bright smile to anyone who she would see, never once faltering.

And one day, she met my brother. Moses.

It was like love at first sight for them.

He was charismatic, magnetic, electric. And she knew it.

And when they touched, they felt this-this spark. Like they were hit with electricity.

And in both of their eyes, they were the most magnificent beings they have ever seen.

And soon enough the Goddess of the Night discovered that she was with child. She couldn't be more happier.

She was so happy that she ignored her sister's warnings of what would happen, for she was blinded by love for my brother.

And then she gave birth to a beautiful daughter, whom she loved very much, and so did Mother Nature.

But the prophecy stated that the daughter of the Moon would become more powerful than the Sun and rule over the Universe.

Zenaida was enraged by this, for she didn't want to give up the throne to a child. And so, with the permission of Father Time, she killed Moses and stole the child.

Once (Y/n) found out...

The magical aura showed (Y/n) running down the hall of a castle in the same dress she wore today, she looked frightened. She ran into a room where the now empty crib was. The goddess' eyes widened in shock.

"I told you this would've happen, my dear sister." Zenaida said quietly behind her sister, only enough for (Y/n) to hear her.

(Y/n) then teared up and she released a heartbroken scream.

...she was never the same."

Jacob then made the aura disappear. He sighed.

"After that day she searched far and wide for Lauga, but with no results. She then made me into her right hand man and tought me magic, making me immortal."

"Oh god!" Miriam exclaimed, eyes widened and filled with tears as her hand covered her mouth. "If anything like that happened to my daughter...to my little Hope.."

"So....(Y/n) is only doing this so that she could be with her daughter again." Jack said quietly.

"Yes. And I know that both of you have the power to stop her before it's took late."

It was silent then, both Guardians trying to take everything in - the true story of (Y/n) Artemis, Zenaida's selfishness, everything.

Suddenly, they all heard fighting noises outside of the dungens and at the same time a storm was starting to brew outside of the little barred window.

Oh no... The three prisoners thought.

(The time has come)
