Zenaida's pov.

"I don't understand how the ritual didn''t work. It should've. " I said quietly while pacing in front of the Guardians.

"Zenaida," The Guardian Angel, Miriam, said, "You said that (Y/n) Artemis knows a great deal about magic, did you not?"

"Yes. Yes, I did." I replied. "She might be even more powerful than me in that category. I have always known more in the battle arts than magic. That was her speciality."

"Then, prehaps, she could've stopped the ritual? You know, putting some jinx to-" North said.

"To deny the magic in the ritual to be created. That's it! If we try to recreate the ritual somewhere else, we might be able to find both of them!" I exclaimed in realisation.

"Wait, wait, wait. Why do we need both Pitch and (Y/n) Artemis?" Bunnymund asked.

"When we find one of them, the other won't be far behind. Death and fear circle each other, almost like Life and Death." I replied.

"Like the two Koy Fish? Twi and La?" Miriam asked.

"Yes..." I replied, my eyes widened at the fact that she knew such powerful creatures. And even their true names. "How do you know of them?"

"I have read many books in Azarath's Spirit Library about Ancient Magic." she said. "Which also include a perfectly working locating spell that YOU weren't able to do-"

"Miriam!" Tooth exclaimed angerly at the female.

"Miriam, what are you doing?" Jack hissed under his breath.

"Don't you think it is a little strange to just trust her after a few minutes of meeting? Location spells are a part of complicated magic and if one thing goes wrong we will all perish. She," Miriam pointed at me with her finger, "said it herself. She isn't a profesional at Ancient Magic! What if she-"

She then stopped her angry ranting when Sandman tapped her leg and signaled for her to calm down.

"Don't mind her, she is just on edge because of some magic mombo jombo-" Jack said easing me slightly.

"That 'magic mombo jombo' is called the Harmonic Convergence. And if Pitch uses it's power, we wont be the only ones suffering." Miriam cut off Jack.

Everything then became deadly silent. Soon everyone excused themselves from the room only leaving Zenaida and Miriam. When Miriam went past Zenaida she stopped and whispered.

"Don't you dare to act as someone all innocent and bright. We both know that you are not just that. I know what you have done. And I won't be afraid to use it against you if you dare to hurt my family."

My eyes widened at her words. She then moved past me and out of one of the large oak doors, still glaring at me.

She couldn't have known.

....

.....

.........could she?

Did she really know what I did so long ago?

What I did almost seven centuries ago?

(To be continued)

I am very sorry that I have not updated sooner. With all the schoolwork piled up on me it's hard to find some time to write this book. I also lost passion for this book at some point, but now I have new ideas and regained my passion to write this book, so I will try my hardest to release the next update soon. Until next time :)
