(This chapter will kinda suck, so I am very, very sorry about that.)
Noone's pov.
It's been a few hours since they decided to look for the ones that could help them find Pitch and they ended up in a forest in Latvia, in the middle of the night.
They were all walking in silence. The only sounds they made were their footsteps and Tooth's wings softly beating.
"Sooo...." Jack dragged on"How are we supposed to find this 'Zenaida'?"
Miriam sighed "We need to keep looking. I'm sure we-"
Suddenly something crashed in front of them with a great force. They then saw a figure wrapped in golden light coming towards the fallen figure with great speed. The figure that was laying on the ground quickly jumped to her feet and both figures clashed their swords.
(This is how Zenaida will look like for the rest of the book)
(This is how (Y/n) Artemis will look like)
'(Zenaida's sword)
((Y/n) Artemis' sword)
The Guardians looked shocked while the two goddesses fought. They both fought powerfully but could not land a single hit on one another. Finally they both clashed their swords so powerfully that it blew both of them back. The dark clothed goddess was quicker to regain her breath and stand straight, but she didn't move to attack.
"This has to end sister." The goddess said in a powerful yet calm voice. The goddess that was dressed in white and gold stood up and grabbed her sword. She was breathing heavily and scovled at the other goddess.
"You're right- this has to end. So do what's best for this world and submit. You've already caused enough damage."
"You know I can't do that, dear sister." The dark Goddess said calmly as her (h/c) eyebrows furrowed. "Life can not excist without death."
The Goddess of Life charged at the other Goddess sloppily. When Zenaida was close enough, the Goddess easily threw the sword to the side and flipped the goddess over.
Then the sun goddess started to growl and started standing up.
"Zenaida, please. You know that this has to end. If we want to protect the world from Pitch Black we need to work together. If we keep doing this, the world will end because of us-" The darker goddess said with a calm yet serious voice.
"No. The world will end because of you. You are the Goddess of Death. You are the one that causes suffering to those around you."
The Goddess of Death said nothing. She remained quiet yet as strong as a mountain. She looked unbeatable. Then she calmly turned around beautiful raven wings sprouting from her back.
"What, have you got nothing to say (Y/n) Artemis?" Zenaida asked angerly. Said Goddess merely turned her head over her shoulder ever so gently and said.
"You have no idea what you are getting yourself into, dear sister. I just wish you will realise that before it's too late." (Y/n) calmly and gently said and then her wings fluttered and she flew to the black star lit sky, almost invisible.
Everyone watched the retreating figure until she was out of sight and then their attention turned towards the Goddess of the Sun, who was still laying on the ground.
Said Goddess then stood up and brushed the dirt off of her white silk dress. When she looked towards the Guardians that had watched the whole scene she rose an eyebrow at then questiongly. The Guardians stared at each other awkwardly, not knowing what to say until North cleared his throat and stepped forward to talk to the Goddess.
"Uh, Miss Zenaida-"
"Please, drop the formalities. Just call me Zenaida." The Sun Goddess said with a bright smile which made North relax a bit.
"Well Zenaida, let us introduse ourselves-"
"You are the Guardians aren't you? Let me guess North, Bunnymund, Toothiana, The Guardian Angel, Sandman and Jack Frost." Zenaida said with a small chuckle and pointing her sunkissed skinned hand at each Guardian she mentioned.
"Yes, actually. We were actually looking for you." when Toothiana started saying that they needed Zenaida's help, Miriam turned towards Jack and Bunnymund.
"Guys," she whispered and immediantely their attention was brought on her, "Don't you feel something...off, about Zenaida?"
Bunnymund was about to say something, but Jack started whispering back, "Don't worry Miriam. I'm sure it's just you being paranoid. The lady seems nice and as long as she can help us we're all good."
Jack then went to hear the conversation going on between Zenaida, North and Toothiana. Bunnymund sighed and gently placed a paw on his wife's shoulder.
"Don't worry, shiela. I think you are just worried too much. Hope is in good hands, in Azarath, somewhere noone could reach her other that you or the misterious Goddess. And if any trouble comes our way, I promise to protect you with my life." Bunnymund gently whispered and placed the other paw to her soft pale cheek and Miriam naturally leaned into the touch and closed her electric blue eyes.
"I know, beloved." Miriam whispered back. When Bunnymund moved closer to the crowd, she felt a soft tap near her leg. She looked to the side to see a worried Sandy making signs above his head and she understood that at least he believed her.
"Let's just hope that everything is going to be alright." Miriam said quietly and with Sandy moved closer to the Goddess of Life.
