Miriam's pov.

"So, um, who was that other girl. You know the one with who you just fought, Zenaida?" Jack asked the Sun goddess.

We were all now flying in North's sleigh.  Zenaida said that she knew a sanctuary somewhere in the middle of the Sahara desert, but I highly doubt it. In the past few years I have read all the books, including about ancient sanctuaries that were created to worship ancient magic. Especially to whorship and seek protection from Mother Nature.

"That was (Y/n) Artemis, The goddess of Death. The Grim Reaper." Zenaida replied to Jack's question as everyone started to listen to the conversation going on.

"Okey, and why were you fighting exactly?" Jack continued on.

"She wants to take over the world. She believes that the world is full of sin and the only way to get rid of it would be to let everyone and everything die." The goddess said.

"But why? That's just wrong." Toothiana said horrified after hearing Zenaida's explanation.

"I have been trying to tell her that for many centuries, but she is stubborn. She doesn't care about life. She only wants to watch the world burn." mentioned goddess said.

"Well, when we figure out how to defeat Pitch we will help in any way we can." North said to the goddess. She nodded in gratitude and smiled.

Me and Sandy stayed silent as we carefully whatched the Sun goddess. Soon we arrived in the middle of a desert and saw a temple. There were a lot of carvings about the sun. We all went in and saw a huge pentagram carved in the ground.

"I can locate Pitch's location by using some of the ancient magic

"I can locate Pitch's location by using some of the ancient magic." Zenaida said as she stepped into the middle of the magic pentagram. "But I need to concentrate. No distractions."

She then sat cross leged and levateted from the ground. As she did this, the lines on the pentagram lit up in purple flames. Everyone thought that something was going to happen, but nothing did. Zenaida just fell to the floor confused.

"Impossible..."Zenaida whispered "It should've worked. I'm sure of it- "

"Maybe if you tried preforming a different spell like-" I said to her but she cut me off.

"It wouldn't have worked. This was the only way." To this my brows furrowed in anger. Of course there was another way. And what kind of a spell was she even trying to do?

"Maybe we could try to find Pitch in the North Pole. We really don't have much time." Toothiana said. Everyone agrred except for Zenaida who wanted to object, but everyone already moved towards the sleigh....again.

(To be continued)

A badly written chapter, I know. I'm sorry. I have already imagined some great scenes for this fanfiction, but I really don't know what to put in the middle. So please, if you have any ideas as to what should happen, then write then down in the coment section.
