Chapter Two... PART TWO

A Non-truthful truth or dare-

JoeysPOV

Shane just kissed a dude that called him horrible things. I'm guessing he's Shane's bully. How could he love him?

I yelled but the bully yelled too.

"Shane. Come back!"

I wanted to run. Get him back in here.

I started to run but the bully ran in front of me.

"Where are you going?" He spat in my face.

"To get back my friend."

"He is mine. Got it?"

"I don't think so. Nobody would call someone they like a f**."

He punched me and ran for shane.

I ran too. Good thing I was training in Boston. I sped up in front of him and looked for shane.

I found him outside. Climbing a tree.

I caught up to him and climbed up with him. He looked sad and climbed higher.

I couldn't catch up."Shane. Why are you running? I care about you. I want to be your friend and friends help each other!"

He looked surprised at why I would ever say that. "Nobody Would want to be my friend."

"But I do shane!" I stopped to keep climbing,"Please come down to me. I can't go any higher!"

He hesitated but gave in an climbed down to me."What do you want from me?"

I though about it."Friendship. I want to get to know you. I won't hurt you if that's what your afraid of."

"I don't know."

"Well. Let's start out with getting to know each other. I'll start. My full name is Joseph Michael Graceffa. I used to live in Boston with my family, mom,dad,Nichole, and Jett. But then we moved here for a new start from..."

He looked at me expectantly but I couldn't continue. "Hey. I think you sound nice. You are nice enough to talk to me so I will be your friend. Can you finish what you were gonna say?"

He scooted closer and rubbed my back. "If you don't want to we can talk later. Ok?"

I nodded and gave him a hug."Thank you. Do you want to come over to my house? We can hang out and talk there."

"Okay"

He patted my shoulder and climbed down the tree.

I followed and went to my locker. I put a note In his locker that had my address on it.

I walked back to class and got a burning glare from the teacher and the bully.

I sat back down in my seat next to shane and wrote a note.

~Shane,

I know I just became your friend but know that I care for you and will always be here for you.

If you need to talk EVER make sure to come to me. I will listen 'till the end and give you any support you need.

I am excite to see you later today.

I passed it to him and looked forward. I pretended to be listening but used my peripherals and watched him react to the note.

He smiled and looked at me. I looked back and smiled at him to let him know that all of it was true.

The rest of the day went by quickly. I made sure shane saw my address and then walked away.
