As we walked to my escape place I just kept quiet. Shane tried to engage in conversation but I couldn't talk. Too much has happened. I mean, my boyfriend tried to make me.... You know, I cut open my legs and felt too much pain, shane cheated on his boyfriend; WITH ME! And he hit his dad in the face and yelled at 'im too.
Too much to process, too much to think about. "Shane?"
He kept walking looking around,"Hmm?"
I couldn't think how to phrase it. "Ummmm, whataboutgarrett?" I mumbled the last part.
"What? Joey honey, you can't mumble."
I know it was my fault that he didn't hear but it kinda made me angry he didn't hear it. "What. About. Garrett?" I said punctuating every word.
He stopped in his tracks and turned white. White as a sheet of paper. "Uhhhhh.........."
