"Hey Jamie, catch this!"
I turned around to see a crown flying directly for me. With a yelp, I ducked - and lost my footing on the steps of ever after high, falling face first on to the pavement. I was bruised and red and annoyed.
Kitty was giggling hysterically, not even making a move to help me up.
"Gee, what a friend." I muttered, dusting off my skirt and getting to my feet. I realized nearly everyone was laughing at me. Me. I was the spectacle. Now who made it this way?
However, it didn't take long for me to realize it was Patrick. He was at the center of the group, doubling over in laughter. This really wasn't the day for pranks. I was angry and the last thing I needed was Patrick being a pest.
"Whatever." I turned back for the steps.
"Jamie, wait!"
I disdainfully turned around. Patrick Pan was still grinning from ear to ear, twirling what looked to be Briar Beauty's crown in his hands.
Looking at him now, that ridiculously childish guy, all I felt was anger. I felt anger and regret. I was stupid to let Cindy control me and even more for taking so long to do something about it. Now he was hers.
I gritted my teeth until I came up with something to say. "Is that Briar's?"
Patrick smirked. "Yep, stole it right under the sleeping princess nose."
I rolled my eyes. "Well then you better give it back, she's probably worried." I didn't turn back around as I hurried up the steps to my dorm.
My heart sank even lower when Cindy passed by, calling out Patrick's name.
As soon as I got to my room, I fell face first on to my bed. I wasn't sure why I was letting this petty situation control my the way I felt. This was high school after all. Soon, I'd be on to bigger and badder things.
I would soon have my own ship, my own crew, and my own story - but it still hurt.
There was a faint knock at the door then. Frigging magix! When can I have a break?
I slammed my pillow on to the floor because it made me feel slightly better then I got up and opened the door.
"Oh, its you." I sighed.
Raven smiled wryly. "Whats that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing." He shouldn't be coming around anyway. I collapsed on to my bed again, leaning down under my bed to pull out my homework. Ever since mermaid beach, I'd become a disorganized mess.
Raven sat beside me, giving me that knowing look of hers. "You've been acting really..." She didn't finish, instead she sighed.
"Really what?" I snapped.
Raven didn't seem phased by my annoyance. She just shrugged her shoulders and that irritated me even more. It was nice to have company but I was just an irritated mess. "Really angry....is everything okay?"
I had already decided I would no longer talk about Patrick or having any kind of relationship with him. In fact, I was doing a pretty magical job of ignoring him. Yet Patrick Pan was a pest who just couldn't take a hint. He was still under the impression that we were friends."I'm - I'm fine." I lied.
"IIts about Patrick," Raven smiled gently. "You don't have to lie. Besides, I'm sorta in the same boat as you. Just tell me whats going on."
Oh what the heck? I told Raven everything from beginning to end and once I got everything off my chest, I suddenly felt really good. Talking to Raven reminded me of talking to Mr. Smee or my Dad, they all calmed me down.
Raven played with her hair, zapping strands into different dark colors. "You don't have to feel guilty for liking Patrick. He's not his Dad's actions. He's not responsible for...y'know."
"I just wish I'd learned that sooner," I admitted. "And now its too late....how did that even happen?" Just thinking of Pindy brought a frown over my face.
"I don't know, they've already been close friends since they're apart of the same story and all," Raven shrugged. "And he just asked her out."
"After kissing me." I groaned.
Raven chuckled. "Don't be down, Jamie, its only letting Cindy win. There are plenty of guys in the realm."
I doubted that there would be anyone who wanted to go with me. I was a pirate, a thief who was bound to lose an arm in the future. I got up then. "I'm hungry, I think I'm gonna head down." A dust cake sounded really good right now.
I opened the door only to bump into something hard. "Hey what the-"
"That wasn't my fault."
I rubbed my bruised nose, looking up into the eye of my attacker. Tall, mismatching eyes, and the trademark red beanie, Bellamy was nothing likes his Dad, Mr.Smee. "Bellamy?" I gasped. "What are you doing here?"
"Where in ever after is the ship?" He said in an annoyed monotone voice. "If my father left without me , I'm gonna-"
"It left days ago." I answered.
Bellamy let out a frustrated sigh, looking more angrier than I had before. "Great, just great, I'm stuck here!"
Raven nudged my arm, giving me the most weirdest look she ever possessed.

A/N: Sorry for the long hiatus again! I know, I know, I'm a terrible updater. I hope you can forgive me with this Bellamy-Jamie canon I came up with.
& what should be the ship name (if anyone actually ships them) for Cindy and Patrick?
Thank you to those who are still around ♥
