Chapter Six

Trinity

I leave my house, all giddy from seeing the dream. Before I left, I texted Ash that I was coming to pick her up. I hop in my car and pull out of the garage, heading towards Ash's house. I tap my fingers quickly on the steering wheel as I near her house, unable to wait to break the news.

Eventually I get there, parking next to the curb. I text her I'm here, then wait for her to get in. "Ash guess what?!" I say excitedly, turning to her.

"Ugh jeez, too much energy in the morning." She says, with a soft chuckle and a roll of her eyes. "What?" She adds.

"Well.... I had the dream!" I say, a huge grin on my face. It felt like it was ear to ear. Ash squeals suddenly, sharing the same energy levels as me now.

"Ohmigosh!! Are you serious! Who is it?? What did their wolf look like?" Ash goes on, bombarding me with questions. I wait for her to calm down before explaining.

"He's an Omega male, and his wolf is Snow White with streaks of a bronze colour down his side, as well as little speckles of bronze on his ears, muzzle, and tail. He's so damn cute..." I describe, recalling the memory of his wolf.

"Awh.." Ash coos, making me roll my eyes. "What's his name?" She asks, tilting her head slightly. I sigh softly and start heading to the school.

"I couldn't get it, he woke up before I could even get close to him." I say with a shrug. "But I know he's close, and he goes to the school. I'll find him today, then I'm gonna treat him like a prince." I say with a cool determination.

Ash and I get to the school after a few minutes of driving. While we were driving, Ash and I were trying to think of where I could find my mate. I knew he liked the library, so maybe I'll check there?

I park my car in my usual spot, then get out with Ash, heading to the main building. We both walk over to the library, and immediately I catch the scent of him. He smells so sweet, I just wanna hug him so tightly it could create a black hole. My nose twitches softly as I follow his trail to the little space where the bookshelves made walls.

Wait... he turned at my scent..? Why...?

I bite my lip gently, a bit hurt he turned away. I shake it off and follow it to the area where the chairs are. Damn it! I just missed him!

"Ash, he just left..." I say to her as she rounds the corner. I can't tell where he went after that, because the scent becomes faint outside the library. He must be taking suppressants (which affect a person's general scent as well) for a... heat.... Wow, I forgot Omegas have those...

I huff softly in frustration that I can't find him. I WILL find him today. Ash calms me down and tells me that I'll find him. Duh, I know I will. We exit the library and head over to our group of friends, getting lost in conversation.

At one point Ash mentions I had the dream, and the whole group does what Ash did earlier. I roll my eyes and can't help but grin when I think of him. I haven't even met him yet and he's already made me the happiest girl ever.

I reexplain the dream and what his wolf looked like and stuff like that and that he was an Omega. Speaking of which, is pretty lucky by the way. Omega males are a lot more rare than Omega females. Anyways, I knew I wouldn't be able to focus much today, so I just decided to cut class and get one of my classmates to get me notes.

I wave goodbye to my friends as they start to leave for their classes, heading out to the lunch hall to get something to eat.

A few hours later, the first classes are letting out. I get up from a table in the corner of the large room, heading it of the hall. I sniff the air quietly, trying to see if I could catch the scent of my mate. I picked up nothing, but I know one thing's for sure; he'd definitely catch mine. Alpha scents are pretty powerful.

I make my way to a bench that sits on the edge of the sidewalk, where I know a lot of students walk past. I pull out my phone to entertain me while I wait, students slowly start filing out of the building.

No dice, unfortunately. He wasn't in the crowd. Damn it! I gotta wait for the next set of classes to let out, which was at the science building. I walk over there, and the students were already leaving.

Shit! I hope I didn't miss hi-

My thoughts are cut short by a small figure bumping into me. My nose twitches, the faint scent of my mate finding its was to me. He looks up at me with a shy look, his cheeks turning bright red. "S-Sorry..." He mumbles. He must've smelled my own scent, because I could his body heat up against my own.

"Well hello, my mate~" I say teasingly, smiling wide. He squeaks, covering his face. Jesus, if looks could kill. I slowly wrap my arms around him and hug him. He looks up at me shyly, not exactly sure what he should do.

"What's your name hun? You woke up before I could get close to you." I say with a soft chuckle, referencing the dream. "I'm Trinity."

He squirms in my grip, which I loosen. I may have been hugging him a bit too tightly. "J-Joseph..." He mumbles. I realised that I was making him a bit uncomfortable, so I let him go. He huffs softly and leans up against me. Heh, well maybe I wasn't it seems.

"I-I'm glad we finally found each other..." He says quietly, looking up at me again. I am a good five or so inches taller than him, and I'm five ten.

"Yeah, me too. You're adorable by the way." I say with a grin, causing him to blush brightly. Man, I love doing that.

"Thanks.." He says shyly and smiles. I hug him again, not saying much. Great, I'm getting emotional.

"U-Uhm.. my dad is here to pick me up... I should be going..." He starts, trying to pull away from me. I huff softly and hold onto him, not wanting to let go.

"Rrf... Alright. Lemme put my number in your phone!" I say, loosening my grip on him. He reluctantly hands me his phone, which I enter my number into. I give it back to him, then let him go. "Can I meet him? Your father?" I ask, holding his hand.

He shrugs and nods softly. "Sure I guess... just, don't do anything weird or something, he's really overprotective..." I nod and follow him to where his father is parked, still holding his hand. I can see his dad staring me down, but I don't really care. Not even he can stop me from loving my Joey...

"D-Dad this is Trinity... my uhm.. mate." He says slowly, looking down. I squeeze his hand gently and he squeezes back.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Trinity." His father says, keeping his eyes on me. "I suppose we should get more acquainted, yes? Why don't you come over for dinner tonight, and we can talk and get to know one another."

"That sounds like a good idea, should I follow you home? I have my own car." I respond.

"Yeah that's fine. My name's Richard by the way. I'll wait for you up here."

"Alright! I drive the maroon Challenger, so if you see that, that's me." I tell him, then give Joey a hug. "I'll see you soon." I say, then walk off towards my car.

What an amazing day this is.
