Hello everyone, and thanks for sticking with this story throughout my giant pauses in writing. I just wanna give y'all an update going over what's been going on. The reason I've been absent is due to some big changes happening/having happened in my life. In about a month and a half or so, I'll be moving away (alone) for University, and I've been getting ready for that. I'm moving two states away, and I've been working at many jobs to save up money, etc. This may or may not be the last chapter of this story due to this, but I will try my best to keep everyone updated.

Thanks, DK

Trinity

I'm gonna ask him to marry me. I won't take it any longer, I have to see his finger with the most handsome ring I can find. Today, I'm gonna go to a ring maker and talk with them to see about getting a ring.

"Hey Joey! I'll be back, I'm gonna go run a few errands!" I shout from the kitchen.

"Alright!" I hear back from Joey. He's probably upstairs drawing or playing a game with some of his new friends he met online. Good for him.

I grab my keys from the counter and step out of the house. I start up my car and quickly back out, then I begin the drive to the ring maker's shop.

After a short-ish drive, I make it to the warehouse looking building. I walk into the lobby and let the assistant know that I'm here for an appointment. She nods and lets the ring maker know, then I thank her and go to sit.

I entertain myself with my phone, just playing some stupid game you find from ads on other stupid apps.

Sometime later, the ring maker finally comes and greets me into the workshop. I greet him with a smile and follow him into his office, which has a window looking out into the actual work area.

"So, what can I do for you, Miss..?" He starts off with, holding a little booklet of ring samples.

"Oh just call me Trinity. And I'm looking for an engagement ring. I understand you do custom rings, right?" I say, peeking at the ring on his finger, admiring the intricacies.

"That's correct, is the ring for a male or female?" We have a wide variety of materials and designs we can do. Some materials are of course, more expensive than others though."

I nod, flipping through the little book he's provided. It's got all the materials they have, and all the designs they do. I glance over most of it, but one particular design catches my eye.

It's a black material, tungsten carbide, with a sorta clear material in the middle, and in the middle has malachite, diamonds, and a few other stones, mixed with what the ring maker calls glow powder. It lights up in the dark, and he calls it the "Deep Space" ring. It looks dope as hell, and looks like something that's right up Joey's alley.

"How much is this one, the deep space ring?" I ask him, pointing to it on the page.

"Ah that's one of my favourites, that one starts at four grand and can be an upwards of ten, depending on what ratios of stones or additions you'd like." He explains.

I nod, thinking to myself. "Alright, I think I want this one then. And can I add lapis lazuli into the mix? Blue is his favourite colour. Also if you can fit maybe two or three larger diamonds into it, to kind of have like a start effect."

"Of course, one second, let me get a starter price for you real quick..." He says, tapping at his computer, probably adding up the price of my addition.

"Alright so we're looking at a ring for a total of... eighty-five hundred, does that fit your budget?" He asks, looking back at me.

"That works. Do you allow it to be paid in full or do I have to pay it in increments?" I say, pulling my wallet from my bag, and my credit card from that.
