"Do I have to do everything around here? You're not keeping an eye on her!" He shouted."Give me time! Let me do things my way to get through her." the other answered.
"Well, I cannot wait anymore! I need her! I need her power to grow." he said while breathing heavily. "Don't worry. I just got the perfect idea. I will deliver." The other assured him.
"You better be." he answered as he vanished from the room. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. The other fixed the bed and pretended to be asleep.
"Whether you like it or not, I will go with you!" Ariadne contended. "You're still not okay Aria. We need you to rest." Patrick pleaded. "But I am already okay. This is just a scratch. I just got weak from the shouting in my mind but I've already recovered." She explained. "Besides, I feel safer around you." She added turning red.
Emma felt a cringe in her insides as she heard what Ariadne said. Adrian couldn't help but glance at Emma and smirked.
"Fine, but please be careful." Patrick said with worry. "I will be. You and Adi are around so it'll be fine. Ces't bien?" Ariadne giggled.
"We need to get to Mr. Summers fast." Emma said as she turned around and went through the curtains. Patrick turned to Emma disappear from the curtains.
The Springfield Police Department is one of those massive type of buildings where large cuts of limestones are mixed with cement. It resonates the masculine dominance of the institution. The rain was hindering from allowing sunlight to see the beauty of the structure.
The four went inside hastily as the rain poured harder.
Patrick helped himself as he opened Craig's office. The three followed as he opened the door. "What happened to you? We didn't hear from you for two days!?" Patrick bombarded Craig with questions. Craig was standing by the window who seemed to be looking at the people and the cars below the streets. He turned around to the four as he surprised them with his condition.
"Oh my god. What happened with you Mr. Summers?" Emma was shocked as she saw Craig in an arm sling. "I had an encounter with the shadow the other night in the hospital. Well, not exactly the shadow but the guards it controlled." Craig answered.
"And Ms. Frasier, call me Craig." he smiled at Emma. "Alright, Craig. Emma is fine." She smiled back. "What did you find out, Summers?" Patrick interrupted.
"I happened to get the copy of the CCTV recordings on the 18th and 19th when Cassidy was hospitalized." Craig opened up as he frowned at him. He turned his laptop around so it can be seen by everyone. He hit enter to play the recording. "So, this was the moment when Cassidy was rushed in the emergency. And, there's Emma." Craig said as he was pointing the screen. He shifted the recording forward and played it again. "This was the scene when Emma and Dr. Humphrey talked and Emma leaving the scene, running." He continued. Patrick couldn't help but smirk.
Craig turned the video to fast forward again. "This was the scene when Andrea Frost entered the vicinity." He paused. "It was her all along. Take a look at here, even when Andrea Frost exited and headed for the parking, it was still her. I think she was controlled by the shadow." He explained and rewinded the video. Suddenly, Patrick noticed something. "Wait. Can you rewind it a little?" Patrick asked. Craig rewinded 10 seconds prior. Patrick was shocked with what he saw.
"Frida. What are you doing there?" Patrick said to himself as he hit pause on the recording.
"Who is she, Dawson?" Craig asked.
"A friend. Why would she be in the hospital in the first place? A coincidence?" Patrick questioned himself.
"Is he also a psychic, Patrick?" Ariadne asked.
