When I went to Beauxbatons, nobody ever bothered me. But it got boring without many guys, cause they get really pissed if you dye their hair purple, for some reason. I was okay there, and I had nothing to worry about. But when the school found out about my monthly (No, not that monthly, the full moon one), and my not-exactly-being-entirely-straight-problem, everything went wrong. I had like, a ten foot circle of aloneness that nobody wanted to get close to.
So when I transferred to Hogwarts, I swore to never tell anybody ('bout the full moon thing, not the asexuality and depression shit). Ever. Because even your best mate can betray you.
My life is cool here, and I intend to keep it that way.
"Oi, Hunter! Get your head out of the clouds! We've almost arrived!"
I looked up, and out the window. Hogwarts was approaching quickly and I hadn't changed out of my muggle clothes yet. "Shit!" I cursed under my breath. There was no time to lose.
I threw Sev his robes and stripped down to put on mine (don't worry, guys, Sev's not a fucking perv). I magicked on my tie. Just as I finished pulling on my shoes, I felt the train stop and heard voices. Sev had just managed to get out of the compartment when I heard:
"Hey, Snivellous! Where's your crazy friend? Heard she was single." He burst into my compartment. "Heeyyy, darlin'! How ya doin'?" I ignored him and walked to Sev. I felt a cold hand close around my wrist. The boy whipped me around and grabbed my chin, as if to kiss me. He smelled like firewhisky, something I was quite farmiliar with, one from my bad days. "I know you want me," he said, undoing his belt buckle. He licked his lips. I managed to slip out of his grasp and grab my wand. Sev was there with me, along with (surprisingly) James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter.
The rest was kind of a blur. I remember nailing him with a wart-growing hex. Sev got in a few spells too, and by the time the room was cleared out, his face was covered in nasty boils, his hair was flourescent, and he was hanging upside-down by his ankles. I'm not going to lie, it was fabulous with a capital "F"
. I finally made it into the great hall half an hour later. And I only got my butt slapped or pinched eight times. Fuck.

By the time the sorting and feast had ended, I was completely exhausted. I walked up to the Ravenclaw tower on the fifth floor. The eagle knocker looked at me. "What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?" I sighed. Lucky for me, it was an easy one.
"A towel." I mumbled.
The door swung open, revealing the Ravenclaw common room. I forced myself to climb the stairs to the girls dormitories and into my bed. Then I passed out due to exhaustion.

The next morning, I woke up to Lily, bouncing on top of me. "Wakeupwakeupwakeupwakeup!" She screamed in my ear. I pushed her off me onto the floor. How'd she even get in? Oh, yeah, she's a fucking genius, that's how.
"Bloody hell, Lily. Calm down!" I hated mornings.
I sighed and made my way to the bathrooms. I ran a comb through my hair and styled it with magic. I quickly applied some mascara and eyeliner. Deciding that wasn't enough, I put on some copper and nude eyeshadow.
Sighing again, I grabbed my stuff and made my way downstairs. As I closed the portrait behind me, I heard silence. That's odd. I thought. Usually the sound of people socializing and eating could be heard from a long ways away. I cleaned down at my bracelet that was enchanted to show the time, much like a muggle watch. Wait, what?
The watch showed the time as 4:30. Lily! I thought angrily. Oh well. I sighed, then cast a spell that made me invisible. I had found during my last year at Beauxbatons. I hadn't found a more useful spell since. Even now, in sixth year, it was the best thing for slipping away unnoticed.
I slipped onto the top of the Astronomy tower. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a total idiot, with a pretty face and a strange abscence of brain cells. Watching the stars was one of my favourite things to do.
I put a charm on myself to change my skin pale and translucent. Perfect. Now I looked like a ghost. Gliding over to the telescopes, I twisted one so I could see the stars.
I was still a solid being, even I didn't look the part.
I was out for hours, just like what my brother and I used to do.
Then I slipped back to the Ravenclaw common room and fell asleep again, ignoring Lily's passed out body on the other end of my bed.
I'd have to ask her why the fuck she even woke me in the morning.
