The months came and went. Before I knew it, Christmas was almost here and all my friends had left for home. I had stayed, because Filch often gets sad and lonely during the holidays.
And he was my friend. So it's my job to make him feel better.
I was feeling sad and lonely, too. Which nobody should feel like for an extended period of time. It makes you start cutting, and that leads to suicide. So go and get some friends, nimrod.
Anyway, I had just decided to visit Argus in his office. He couldn't even have fun, either, being a squib and all. I was going to give him his Christmas present, then open mine later. This year, I had gotten him a cat. He really likes cats, and he really needed a companion.
And he wasn't really mean, he just feels that is he doesn't catch students, then he'll have to live life as a muggle. He felt really lucky that Dumbledore gave him a job at Hogwarts. Being somewhere non-magical made him upset. So he did his job really well. A bit too well, really.
As I made my way to his office, my Christmas present squirmed underneath my robes. I had gotten him a kitten with lamp-like yellow eyes and fur that stuck out wildly.
When I finally arrived, he was at his desk, muttering, "I'll have that blasted poltergiest removed if it's the last thing I'll do!"
So I did the only logical thing I could think of. I screamed, "I GOT YOU A PRESENT!" In the most annoying voice I could do. He turned to see me and his face broke out in a smile. He was like a little boy again.
I handed him the kitten, and she purred happily. "I think I'll name it Mrs. Norris."

I spent the rest of the day hanging out with Argus, the portraits of all the past headmasters, and our current headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. The first bit of my morning was spent playing with Argus and Mrs. Norris. Then, I hung out in the headmaster's office for a while with all mah dead peeps. The rest of the time was spent with Dumbledore.
I had gotten him a pair of thick woolen socks. As a joke, of course. I had also gotten him a lovely set of quills, everlasting ink, and ink that would glow brightly so you could read in the dark. I spent dinner alone except for my cat, Professor. And Peeves. 'Cause Peeves is a stalker.
Anyway, my Christmas Eve was relatively boring, but when I woke up next morning, I realized that it was gonna get a whole lot more awesome.
Someone had sent me an alpaca.
DUN DUN DUN!
Sorry. Just trying to get you all hyped up. Nobody sent me an alpaca. I wish they did, but alas. No alpacas for me. Not even a measly llama. But I did get a whole lot of presents.
Lily had sent me some goth looking jewellery. So I sent her a letter telling her I wasn't goth. And a gorgeous green dress that accented her eyes perfectly.
Severus had sent me a necklace also. It would warm up whenever we wanted to see each other. And we could talk. Amazing bit of magic, really. I had sent him a expensive potions book along with some rare ingredients. And a small fruit bat. I had a fruit bat too, they're really very useful, and easier to care of than an owl.
Not saying I'm incapable of taking care of an animal or anything.
And I hate to be sentimental and shit, but the best present I got was all my friends coming back to Hogwarts after break.
NEVER MIND ABOUT THIS CHAPTER BEING BETTER THIS ONE SUCKS TOO I'VE BEEN A LITTLE OFF LATELY SO IMMA QUIT FOR A WHILE TIL MY STORIES AREN'T A PILE OF CUSTARD OK?
