Together For Maybe Forever?

So yeah, Remus and I started going out. Maybe not boyfriend and girlfriend, but that may be where we end up. And yeah, I feel a bit guilty for not telling him about my monthly problem, but if we end up trusting each other enough, I'll tell him. Good relationships are based on trust, right? I read that out of a fortune cookie once.

I should be going on my second date with him today. I had already set out my outfit for today last night, so I wouldn't forget: pink dress/shirt, a few pieces of jewelry, a Supernatural (the show is honestly so amazing) slouch bag, leggings, ankle booties, and a knit cat ear hat.

Man, I'm gonna do this date so good.

Maybe I'll tell him about my problem today.

Probably not.

Maybe.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the dorm door.

"Uh, Kyara? Are you ready for the date? It's like four P. M. and you haven't left the room for about an hour."

Fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I pulled on he outfit quickly and did up my hair in a ponytail, hopping of to the door, on boot on and the other in my hand.

"Yeah, give me a moment, Remus."

I slipped on the other boot, forgetting to zip them up and opened the door quickly, reveling Remus in a nice dress shirt and slacks.

"Hey," I said, casually.

He smiled at me. He also smelled like chocolate. He always smells like chocolate. Is he a chocolate? Wait. Never mind.

Taking my hand, we walked out and stepped onto the train to Hogsmeade. Of course, I was expecting a boring ride with a hot dude, but we got to sit with the rest of the Marauders.

"Hi, Sirius. Hi, James. Hi, Peter," I said, noticing their sly smiles. They were planning something. I shall foil their plan. Ehehehe, I'm so bad.

"Hi, Kyara," they chorused back. Suspicious. Definitely keeping a secret from me.

"What are you guys hiding from me?"

"Nothing."

"You little fuckers are hiding something."

"Calm down, Kyara, you'll find out in due time," Remus said, eyes shining and cheeks bright red.

It better be good.

"Okay," I said, leaning against him, feeling his arm wrap around my shoulders.

When the train arrived, most kids ran straight to Honeydukes. Remus and I, and Lucius and Narcissa (far away from us, obviously) were the only Hogwarts students in Madam Puddifoot's that afternoon.

Both Remus an I got a cup of tea with honey.

"So," I said, taking a sip of the warm amber drink. "What shall we do?"

Remus smiled. "I've... Er... Got something for you."

He pulled a leather cord with a silver dog tag on it out of his pocket. There was half a heart stamped on it, and in the other hand he held a dog tag with the other half.

Dog tags. How ironic. I wonder if he knows about me.

"It's symbolism," he said.

Oh, fuck. He definitely knows.

"Uh, for our love for each other?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah," he said.

"Oh."

"And, uh, I have something to tell you. I know we've only been dating for a little bit, but we've pretty much known each other since you first arrived, right up from when you almost beat up James. And uh, I've been feeling a but guilty, so..." He trailed off.

"And?" I prompted.

"I've been feeling a bit guilty because I haven't told you I'm a werewolf."
