As the weather changed and a month passed Jimin was growing more excited.
Taehyung's birthday was this month, December 30th.
Jimin had a plan to make Taehyung's birthday special.
Jimin was currently at work, scrubbing the non existent food off the plates.
Along with excitement the boy had grown dazed.
His own world was a distraction from the real one, a way to escape.
The world consisted of Taehyung and other perfect things.
The world held no abusive fathers, no worries, no pain, just pure happiness.
Maybe that world existed.
Maybe that daydream was not a dream and was a reality.
But Park Jimin doesn't own the luxury of that reality.
That doesn't mean he cannot dream about it, and it doesn't stop him.
Maybe if the world wasn't so cruel he wouldn't have to dream about it.
"Jimin?" A soft voice spoke.
Jimin came back to reality, dropping his plate on the floor.
Hoseok cringed at the shattering of the plate.
"Oh" Jimin stood their for a second before shifting his gaze from the shards of glass to Hoseok.
"I'm sorry hyung" Jimin said with a weak smile before disappearing to find a broom.
Hoseok knew something was wrong.
Hoseok had seen Jimin who was scrubbing the same, clean plate for at least 20minutes.
"Jimin are you okay?" Hoseok questioned aloud.
Jimin reappeared with a broom and his eyebrows furrowed. Jimin heard Hoseok's question.
"What do you mean?"
"You've been in your own reality or something"
Jimin looked up a Hoseok confused.
"Jimin, you've been cleaning the same clean plate for 20minutes" Hoseok emphasized the word clean.
"I have?" Jimin questioned.
Hoseok helped the younger clean up the glass.
"Hoseok I'm okay" Jimin smiled to prove a point.
Was Jimin really okay though? Truth be told the own boy wasn't sure himself.
Hoseok looked up at Jimin who was sweeping the glass into the dust pan He was holding in place for him.
Hoseoks eyes showed concern.
"I swear" Jimin declared.
Of course it wasn't believable, but Hoseok decided not to push it.
"Anyways Jimin your shift is over" Hoseok said then patted Jimin's back.
Jimin pov:
I left the building behind as I started my walk home.
Did I want to go home? Of course not.
I don't find the house, that once was comforting, a safe zone any longer.
My mother still loves my father, she won't kick him out, no matter how much he's ruining things.
Much has changed since he's shown up.
The first week was fine although I still hadn't forgave him, but once he started wanting to "talk" And I wouldn't so he grew frustrated.
I know what he wants to talk about.
Taehyung and I's relationship.
He's not going to ruin that too.
I grab my phone and plug in the earbuds.
I place them in my ears to hear a sweet melody playing.
As I walk I admire the sunset.
The mixture of orange and purple making the city have a calm vibe.
The cold breeze blowing at me makes my cheeks feel numb.
The walk to home isn't too long as I can see the building coming into view.
How I much rather runaway then be there.
The driveway is empty, my parents cars no longer parked there, they left.
I smile to myself knowing I'd have the house to myself, I won't have to deal with my father bugging me.
I go to open the door, but it's locked.
No problem, I can unlock it with my keys-
They aren't in my pocket.
I begin too feel panic rush threw my body.
This sucks
