Realization

Jimin Pov:

I woke to a loud rumble from the thunder.

I look out the window to notice the sun is slowly rising and it's still raining.

Taehyung was still cuddled up to me.

Last night he really did worry me.

I hear my phone ringing the familiar ringtone, notifying me someone's calling me.

I look over at my phone which laid on the coffee table.

I then looked over at Taehyung whose still fast asleep even though my phone is blasting annoying sounds.

I try to reach for it, but since Taehyung is snuggled into my neck I couldn't reach it.

The annoying ringing has finally stoped.

I sighed in relief, I really needed to change my ringtone.

I decided to try to fall back asleep, letting my eyes flutter closed.

I was slowly starting to fade away from the real world and into dream land when my phone blasted again.

I noticed I wasn't the only one who was bothered by the ringtone, now instead of just me, Taehyung was staring at the phone with an annoyed expression.

He lifted his head away from me to allow me to answer it.

I looked at the caller id to see my mothers name.

"Hello?" I answered, my voice sounding a bit hoarse from just waking up.

"Jiminie~" My mom replied her voice cheerful.

"I'm sorry for bothering you so early in the morning, but I've called for an important reason" She said her cheerful tone being replaced with a serious one instead.

Did something bad happened?

"I'm going to be coming home early from my trip, I'll be coming back tomorrow" She said.

I was excited to see my mother again, don't get me wrong, but I'm afraid that she'll make Taehyung go back with his mother.

"Okay" Is all I responded with, not having much else to say.

"How are you and Taehyung?" My mother asked

"Oh we're doing go-" I didn't get to finish being interrupted by my mother.

"No, no I meant relationship wise" Even though she wasn't here for me to see I already know she probably is wearing a smug smirk on her face.

"Mom how many times do I have to tell you, it wi-" I started, but of course she didn't let me finish.

"Never say never~" She cooed into the phone.

I rolled my eyes before speaking.

"Okay okay whatever"

"Anyways we have to go now, bye bye, love you~" Her cheerful voice boomed threw the phone.

We? Who else is with her?

"Okay I love you, goodbye" I replied.

I hung up the phone and placed it back down on the coffee table.

"What was it about?" Taehyung asked.

"My mother is going to be home early"  I replied to the younger before sitting back on the couch.

"Oh when?" He asked playing with his fingers.

"Tomorrow" I simply said.

"Oh ok" Taehyung responded.
