"I don't get it. None of the children from the Huma is part of the missing twelve. Now two more are missing," I sighed. I sat at my computer desk.
~Hannah!~
I jumped up from my computer.
"Who's there!?" I asked. There was no answer.
"That wasn't there before," I commented looking now at the letter on my desk.
"Morning, Hannah," Voltcalren greeted walking into the room.
"Morning," I replied opening the letter. Green gas burst out of the letter. I threw the letter to the ground. Pain zipped through my leg as if something with huge claws scratched it. My whole body started to feel numb and the air smelled like smoke and dirt. These things seem so familiar. I stumbled back and Voltcalren caught me.
"What was that?" Voltcalren asked.
"Where's mother?"
"Mommy... stayed behind." A muffled voice.
"Oh, Where's farther?"
My eyes stung. I slowly stood back up. There was a note inside of the letter. I picked it up and read it.
