Part 2/4
Nobody remembers
All of us were at HQ sitting on the couches except for E, Voltcaren, and Hannah. E leaned against the wall by the door with her arms folded and one foot up against the wall. Hannah and Voltcaren were by the fireplace diagonal across from E on the other side of the room.
"As all of you already know we had a little Horror attack at school. Forty four people are still unconscious..." Hannah stopped and put her hand on the wall to hold herself up. She started panting.
"Hannah?" Koudy questioned. Hannah fell hard onto the floor.
"Hannah?!" E exclaimed rushing to her and the rest of us followed. E kneeled down beside her as we gathered around.
"E?" Voltcaren questioned. E put her hand over Hannah's eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked pushing through Koudy and Dalron a little. E whispered something to Voltcaren.
"She's ok, She's done this before. She must have overworked herself last night." E explained calmly removing her hands from Hannah's eyes.
"Volt...ca-ren." Hannah whispered putting her hands up on her head. Voltcaren picked her up with his long arms and carried her to the back bedroom down the hallway while E got up from the floor.
"Well while Hannah is recovering I will take charge. This meeting will reconvene hopefully tomorrow. Meanwhile stay alert, were guessing it's a level three and moves through electricity." E announced.
"E I think were all questioning. Where were you when we were in that battle with the taxi Horror?" I asked.
"What do you mean. She was right there with us?" Koudy question.
"Did that Level three effect you today." Dalron asked taking my hand as if he was very considered. Koudy grabbed him by the ear and ripped him away from me.
"Ow." Dalron cried rubbing his ear.
"I'm going to do a Horror check on her. You two go ahead and go." E suggested.
"What?! I'm pretty sure E wasn't there!" I explained. Koudy and Dalron left the house leaving me, E, Hannah and Voltcaren in the back bedroom.
"You didn't forget." E commented folding her arms.
"Huh?" I looked at E confused.
"Are you sure nobody in your family is a Horror Hunter?" E asked.
"No. E where were you that night?!" I asked.
"I'm sorry but I had to go see someone. Looks like one of your ancestors had Horror Eyes, but 're not from around here." E explained.
"What do you mean? Who did you go see?" I asked.
"Your a Renaissance Horror Hunter like me. Horror Eyes kun suf fahs ja!" E yelled. What is E doing to me? It feels like she's so much stronger than me. I dropped to the floor.
"Sorry Macey. I have to do this." E apologized. My mind went blank and I just laid there staring at the wall.
