"What are you doing on saturday?" Koudy asked. Mia, Koudy, Hopelyn, and I were all on the swings at recess at Lockkhaiton Elementary.

"Properly sit around and watch T.V. all day." Mia replied.

"Time to go in!" A teacher yelled. Hopelyn, Mia, and I all got off the swings.

"Come on Koudy!" Hopelyn called. Koudy jumped off the swing and made a perfect landing then falling backward on her butt.

"Well you almost made it." Mia smiled.

"Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah." Koudy grind.

"Come on girls!" Another teacher yelled. That day Hopelyn had her first "heart attack" during class. Hopelyn fell out of her seat toward the back of the room.

"Hopelyn are you alright?" The teacher asked from the board. My classmates looked down at her weird.

"She's breathing weird." One of my classmates commented. Mrs.Lays ran over. Hopelyn was lying on the floor, her arms around her chest. She was out of school for a couple of weeks, but when she came back she didn't seem like herself. For a while she would just node, shake her head, and smile to talk.

Present day

Hopelyn lay in a hospital bed with a mask around her face as I stood at her bedside. This is the sixth time she's been in here and the doctors still can't figure out what's wrong.

"I'll present our project during school tomorrow snice your proply not going to be there." I suggested.

"I'll be there." Hopelyn replied.

"What?" I didn't finish.

"There's nothing they can do, I might as well go to school." She commented.

"But maybe they could..." I trailed off. Hopelyn shook her head and sighed.

"You might as well go home. I'll see you tomorrow." Hopelyn whispered. Because of Hopelyn's heart problem she can't do a lot of physical things. Walking is ok for a bit, but after running for four minutes it becomes very hard to breath or could lead to another "heart attack". Hopelyn started screaming and panicking.

"Hopelyn?! What's wrong?!" I exclaimed. Her heartbeat started to go all over again. Soon she wasn't screaming anymore because she was no longer breathing.
