Shift
"And that's it. Thank you." A group ended their presentation. Hopelyn isn't here and I don't want to present without her. I felt a hand on my shoulder then I was pulled down onto the floor out of my desk. The lights flickered and a light zapped across the ceiling. People start screaming. Finally the lights stop and everything was quiet. I looked to my right finding Hannah on the floor with me. We got up off the floor and looked around. Everybody was gone.
"Hannah." I didn't finished. She cover my mouth with her hand.
"We can't be very loud. The Horror may think he's got all of us because there's no one left in here." Hannah whispered. Hannah went over to the door, slowly opened it, and looked around.
"Hopefully we can find it before it finds us." Hannah commented. We walked through the halls for a long time looking behind every corner before going on. Finally we found it in a biology lab. Hannah and I hid by the doorway. Koudy was crouched hiding behind a desk in the corner with her back up against it while the Horror zipped around through the cabinets.
"We need something to stop it long enough to catch it." Hannah commented. For some reason the room got brighter.
"Macey!" Hannah whispered looking over at me with her eyes wide.
"What?" I questioned.
"You shapeshifted into the Horror!" Hannah exclaimed. I looked down at myself. What does she mean? I still look like myself.
"I say you catch this one. Don't worry it doesn't attack its own kind." Hannah suggested pushing me into the room. The Horror looked over at me. Well there's no going back. I could feel the fear in the room. Then it started coming at me.
"Horror Begone!" I yelled real quick. The Horror burst into green sparks. The room stopped glowing.
"Nice work for using your powers for the first time." Koudy smiled getting up from her hiding spot. I sank to my knees in relief.
Concluding report of the Lights Out Case

A few hours later, people started to wake up, but three students have not been found making now the count of missing children twenty two. It makes me wonder if there is another Horror involved with all these missing children and mad attacks because once a Horror is healed it should realise all of its victims. Koudy has now discover her Horror Hunting skill as a seen cover up.
