Chapter 46, Freedom...

*Yami's POV*

Atem had Yugi's father detained, his arms held behind his back and the others waiting for the police to arrive. But Yugi and I, we never moved from when he collapsed into my arms. He was still shaking and crying grabbing my shoulders. With how long he has been grabbing them and the force he was using they were started to hurt, but I chose to stay silent and let him do whatever. 

The sound of a car door slamming shut came from the top of the stairs which diverted my attention from Yugi, to see and hoped it was the police. But it wasn't, in fact it was someone who I didn't expect here. "Where is he? Where is my brother?" he asked Atem and he nodded to us. Heba was here and the look of panic in his eyes when he saw his father was painful but he ignored him and came over to us. "Yugi? Can you look up to me please?"

Yugi finally took a glance up and met eye contact with his brother and his face dropped even more. Heba joined in the hug, wrapping his arms around Yugi and leaning on me for support. "Heba how did you know about this? How did you even know were we where?" I asked and he nodded back to Atem.

"We've kept in contact since I last saw you all, he messaged me when he saw Yugi and that thing over there here and I had to come. Also I may have already been here filming for a movie," he said and a light faint of red appeared on him. "Did he lay any hands on either of you? What did he do?"

I shook my head and felt Yugi place his head on my chest, the sound of police sirens could now be heard and a little weight was took off me. Once they got here Seto and the others showed them down to us and they arrested Yugi's father and put him in the back of their car, then they came over to us three. 

"We have a few questions for you all, Yami could we start with you if we could?" one asked and I looked down to Yugi, he was still in bits. I agreed and tried to separate from Yugi, but he had a bear grip on my shoulders, I think his nails were digging into me. "It-It's ok, Heba may we start with you?"

Heba nodded his head and wondered off a little with them. Bringing me back, Yugi shifted himself and finally sat on his own trying to dry his eyes. "Yugi, I'm gonna go and answer a few questions with them when they come back. Will you be alright with it?" I asked and he looked up with fear. "It'll be fine I promise I'll come right back, Heba will be with you."

"H-Heba's here?" he asked and looked over liked he didn't even know he appeared. The smallest of smiles appeared on Yugi as he saw Heba and went to try and get up. "I-I wanna see him. I wanna talk to him."

"Woah woah easy there, you're a little unstable in the legs. He's being questioned right now and once he is done we'll switch. Just stay there for now alright?" I said and he slowly nodded. After a few more minutes Heba came over to us and crouched down taking my place in hugging Yugi. "I'll be back in a few."

I got up and went to the police, they looked up and down of me. "Hello Yami, we're happy for you to be answering these questions. It's only a few but we hope you answer with nothing but honesty," one said and I nodded. Like I'd lie about any of this. "Alright so, what is your relation with Yugi and Heba Muto?"

"Yugi is my boyfriend, I don't really know Heba all that well as we have not that long met," I said and they jotted that down.

"Were you aware of the events that were happening between Yugi and his father? Did either of the brothers come to you about any of this?" the other, female officer asked and I shifted a little to make myself comfortable.

"Before I met up with Yugi I read about it only a little on the internet. Not believing it at first I wanted to ask Yugi about it but never found the time. Soon after he came out and told me himself, we didn't think he would came after Yugi again," I said and felt a tug in my throat. Now looking back I should of went to the police with Yugi about this, maybe today could of been avoided...
