[ JK: ]

They were leaving 2 weeks ahead of the concert so that they can be well prepared. He was almost done packing his bag, except for his bluetooth speaker. Maybe one of the other guys have it.

Hosoek and Jimin were already asleep, their room dark, so he walks into Yoongi's room. "Hyung, have you seen my Bluetooth speaker?"

"No, Jungkook-ah are you going to make a racket this time too?" his voice was heavy, tired from working late for the album release. Jungkook apologizes and walks away.

He wasn't himself. And having literally raised him, all the members could see it. He had clearly not slept in days, dark rings under his eyes, his voice unstable during rehearsals, barely eating. Min Yoongi did not believe in the drama around relationships, but if there was one thing he didn't tolerate it was seeing one of his brothers in pain and not doing anything about it.

Jungkook was getting ready for a shower when he comes barging into the room, "Jungkook-ah, do you want to get some lamb skewers?"

"Hyung, it's almost 12. Who would be selling lamb skewers at this time?"

"I know a place, let's take a walk," he pulls Jungkook out with him.

The moonlight outside illuminates the empty street. All the managers had been asleep, but the older wasn't bothered with safety, "Not when I have you with me" he had said poking Jungkook's ripped arms.

"Take down a note for hyung, will you?" his tone is serious, so Jungkook pulls out his phone. "When we have our own lamb skewer shop, keep it open 24/7/365." Jungkook stops in his track, closing his eyes and shaking his head, "Hyung..." Yoongi does his wiggly dance, with his gummy smile, "Got you!" Jungkook bursts out laughing, joined by his brother. He walks over to a bench and takes a seat, motioning to the younger to follow him. "What about the skewers hyung?"

"It's almost 12, who would be selling lamb skewers at this time? I just wanted you to get some air. Come sit." Sighing loudly Jungkook obeys the man, not having enough energy to go on about abusing his trust. He didn't have energy for pretty much anything lately, his brothers kept trying to tip him off, but he wasn't bothered to fight them back.

"Have you tried calling?" Yoongi's voice was calm and soothing, the type that makes you comfortable in opening up.

"No. I know she won't pick up," he places his fingers on the sides of his temples, massaging them, "She doesn't want someone like me, someone who has to leave her for months."

"What about you?" Jungkook looks at his brother, "What do you want Jungkook-ah?"

"I.." his voice trails off, "I uh," he clears his throat, tears were building up in his eyes. "I want her, hyung."

Yoongi's eyes soften as he listens, his heart aching for the younger. "I just... All I want is to be with her. I can't explain it in words hyung, it's something about her. Something about her makes me feel alive, like I'm on stage, spotlights on me. It's the same rush of adrenaline. But more safe. Like nothing could go wrong." The older man nodded his head in apprehension.

A thin stream of tears were flowing down Jungkook's cheek now, his nose turning red as he kept sniffing. "I know we haven't been together for long, but I have to get used to not thinking about her, not meeting her, not talking to her and I don't know how to. I miss her, so freaking much." He looks at his brother's eyes, wiping away his tears. "Hyung, tell me I shouldn't leave her. Tell me I should forget everything else and just go back to her, tell her I'm sorry. Hyung tell me, please tell me." He burrows his face into the lap of the older, whose reflex is to hold the man, shield him from the evil of the rest of the world. "Please hyung," he begs, "Help me."Yoongi lets him sob away into the night, waiting for the man to get a hold of himself. There was nothing wrong with letting out emotions, this is what he was expecting when he brought Jungkook out.

Jungkook sits up again, exhausted. The older takes a long look at his face, smiling to himself. "I keep thinking of you as the shy little boy who cried when we tried to make you sing, but you've grown up so much Jungkook." He awkwardly pats Jungkook's hair, eyes getting moist. "I can't take your decisions for you anymore Jungkook. I may have, when you were younger. But you're a grown man now, I think you're smart enough to make decisions for me now," he chuckles. "We have known each other for so long, you can recognize me from just my breathing. So trust me when I say I know you can get through this. I know right now you feel like you'll never move on, that you'll be scarred for life. You may even feel a little regret for meeting her in the first place. It's not wrong to think that, that's how human emotions work. No matter what decision you make now, whether to keep fighting for her or give up, one day you will look back on this and be grateful for her, for the lessons learnt, for the love you felt. So my Jungkook-ah, just go with your heart. Go with what you think is right. Min Yoongi didn't raise you to make wrong decisions, so I know you will never be wrong." Jungkook's heart feels lighter as he listens, eyes drying up. A confidence lights up like a flame in the corner of his heart. "And know this," the older continues, "No matter what decision you take, hyung will always be right by your side. Not just now, but for the rest of your life too."

The gratitude Jungkook feels is overwhelming, he jumps onto his brother hugging him tightly. "Thank you, hyung," he whispers. Yoongi laughs, "C'mon now, it's getting cold. Let's get in."
