The Prettiest ~ Chapter 6

Mina's pov

We sat down across from each other at my table and I ate the food he made me. It was surprisingly good, not even burnt. I guess he really tried, I almost felt bad unfolding the heart napkin. He began to tell me what happened. "I'm so sorry, Todoroki asked me if we were dating and I was just startled so I said some things I didn't mean. You are my best friend and the prettiest girl I know, anyone would be lucky to have you." He looks so cute. "You think I'm pretty?" I asked not even thinking about what I was saying. "The prettiest." He smiled his warm, soft smile. It makes my heart melt every time.

I was shocked and without thinking twice I got up and flung my self at him. I pulled him into the tightest bear hug ever. "M-mina?" "Hm?" "I c-can't breathe." I threw myself back "Sorry!"

Kami's pov

"M-mina?" "Hm?" "I c-can't breathe." She jumped off me and for some reason I was sad. Suddenly all the warmth left me and I felt empty. "Sorry!" "HUH! OH NO, NO! It's fine! Sorry that was loud..." She smiled a tiny smile, but it was enough It was like I could see right through her. Though she only smiled that little bit, I felt so much closer to her.

"Hey Kami?" She looked right into my eyes, she looks so serious. "Yeah?" I was kinda scared of what she was gonna say. "We should go to the arcade!" She smiled a big goofy smile, completely wiping away any trace of the serious face she had on. "Okay!".
