Dancing & Theft ~ Chapter 7

Kami's pov

"Okay!" I sprung up and raced to the door. "Let's go already!" I yelled, I couldn't contain my excitement. "Kami your in sweatpants, a tank top, and barefoot. Not to mention your hair looks like raccoons slept in it." "Thanks Mina."

I went to my room quickly to change and then met Mina in the commons. While Mina dragged me out the door I gave Momo and Jirou a quick thumbs up, they just rolled their eyes at me.

We got to the arcade and I challenged her to see who could get the most tickets with 3,000 yen each. I tried to be a proper gentleman and payed. First we played the dancing game, she won. Then we played Mario Kart, it was close but I won. After that we went our separate ways to start the competition for real. I was doing really well, but then I spotted 'IT'. I rushed over to the jumbo claw machine and it just called my name. There was a giant pink alien plush. I knew I had to get it for her, I mean it looks just like her. I'm so mean.

After spending the rest of my money on the claw machine, obviously losing the competition. I didn't get it. Now I'm not a criminal but i wasn't thinking straight in my rage. I took a bobby bin out of my hair and picked the lock. I grabbed the plush as fast as i could and relocked it. 'I feel awful.'

When I finally found Mina she was back at the dancing game. She was absolutely soaked in sweat. "Is this the only game you played?" I asked kinda confused. "Yeah." She said with her eyes still glued to the screen. Which was actually lucky because she didn't see the giant plushie behind my back. "I think I lost the competition... but I got you something!" "REALLY! Hold on one sec!" She finished her game after a minute. "Alright, close your eyes." I said as she turned towards me. "And put out your arms." "Okay" I could tell she was getting impatient. I placed the plush in her arms facing her and told her to open her eyes.

"KAMI IT'S SO CUTE!!!" "Mina shh, everyone's looking at us! I thought it looked just like you, so I had to get it." I turned away because I could feel a blush rising in my cheeks. It took me a second to register what was happening but I soon realized I was in another bear hug. This time I was smart and didn't push her away. Yes, I couldn't breathe but she was so warm. I never wanted it to end. Sadly it was out of my control and she pulled away.

"Kami look!" I looked where she was pointing and it was a photo booth. 

Mina's pov

"Hell yeah!" We climbed in and payed. For the first photo we both did peace signs. Then the second photo we both put our hands on our chins in the thinking position. For the third we stuck out our tongues and made weird faces. Then I don't know what compelled me to do it but I kissed him on the cheek. His face flushed pink and i just giggled. That's a photo I'll cherish forever.
