One Burnt Sandwich of Love ~ Chapter 10

Mina's pov

"I'm sorr-" I pulled him back by his collar and collided our lips. It lasted about 30 seconds before we pulled back for air. I looked him in the eyes. "For what?" I couldn't help it and started giggling. "Mina?" "Hm?" "I like you. You could probably guess that by now." He looked away blushing. I grabbed his chin and turned him back to look at me. "I like you too." I smiled and pecked his lips once more. "Hey Kami, we have ice cream to finish." I smirked and we started cramming our mouths with ice cream again.

Somehow we finished and claimed our shirt. I put it on the alien, then started to walk back. I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers. We didn't talk the whole way home, but the touch was enough. Right before walking in we let go. we agreed that we should come up with a creative way to tell our friends.

Kami's pov

We walked in and no one was there. I checked the time and it was already 11. "I didn't realize how late we were out." I chuckled. "Time flies when you're having fun!" "Yeah." I smiled softly and we made it back to her room. I kissed her on the forehead and headed back to my room. I didn't stay because I didn't want things to move too quickly.

I woke up at 6 the next morning, guess I was too excited to sleep. I quickly got dressed in casual clothes and crept over to Mina's room. In case she wasn't awake, I used my spare key and walked in. She was still sleeping like an angel and hugging the alien I got her...how cute.

I decided that I would try and make a more successful breakfast in bed for her today. Sadly I still can't cook. I made an egg sandwich for her and then just put it in the oven to keep it warm while I set some other stuff up. I made another nice tray. Rose petals and edible glitter i found in the cupboard (probably Aoyama's) scattered on the tray. Then some rosemary tea and cookies. I also decided maybe we could cuddle and watch a movie in her room. So I went to the commons to pick something, I know she likes those cheesy romantic comedies. I put the movie I finally picked on the tray and went to get the sandwich. Of course I screw up everything, so when I opened the oven door smoke started filling the room. I forgot you're supposed to keep the door open if it's just keeping warm, oops.

Just my luck the alarms went off. This seems familiar. Suddenly I heard someone running to the kitchen. Maybe the world doesn't hate me as much as I thought because luckily it was Todoroki. It seems like he really rushed, he was just in some flannel pants and no shirt. He froze the alarm and looked around for a fire but there wasn't one. Just one really burnt sandwich of love.

"Thanks." I sighed in relief, it seems not everyone woke up. "No problem, I'm sorry about yesterday. I got Mina some flowers to say sorry." He looked down, he seemed upset. I don't think I've really seen him with emotions other than when he smiles at Midoriya. "Oh! I'm sure she'll love them. Thank you!" "Do you want me to go get them? I see your going to her room anyway." He pointed at the tray. Wait did he just wink?! "Um...yeah. You won't tell anyone right? We wanted to make it a surprise." I started blushing and looked away. "Of course not." He smiled and walked away. Probably going back to sleep, it's still early in the morning on a Sunday.

I made Mina a new sandwich and one for me then started walking back to her room.

Author's note: Hell....o. You know the usual stuff. I need to start writing again because I'm running out of pre-written chapters. :( I was sick and missed like a week of school so I wrote a ton then, but also because of that I have a ton of make up work for the past few days and haven't had any free time to write. Anyway, goodbye lovelies! <3
