"Don't waste your love on somebody, who doesn't value it."
― William Shakespeare,

"Karis I have found her" Nate spoke softly into the phone he smiled sweetly watching his mate calmly from across the terminal.

He had seen her in dreams and she had looked radiant utterly beautiful but this was so much better. He finally understood what other people spoke about when they met their mates.

"What is her name?" his friend asked. She already knew who he was referring to. Nathaniel had explained to Karis his abilities and she promised not to tell her anyone for that matter.

"I'm not sure, but she's not human." He whispered the human part. Nate could tell by the murmur of her heart that she was nowhere near mortal and he smiled to himself again completely forgetting his friend's question.

"She's gorgeous Karis."

The woman he was admiring continuously gazed at him and smiled as if she could hear what he was saying. She would occasionally dip her head shielding her face from his gaze or tuck strands of her curly hair behind her ear.

"You're not going to be talking to her anytime soon if you keep staring at her like a piece of meat."

"How did you-

"Hurry up and talk to her, her flight could be leaving. Nathaniel."

Nate quickly said goodbye, to his friend and shoved his phone in his pocket, he wanted to be cautious and not rush over to her like the beast inside him wanted to. Instead, he wanted to take his time and talk to her to make this as mundane as possible.

He had been waiting to meet her for a long time, it couldn't hurt to wait a little while longer.

Nate made his way over to her in a matter of seconds, he had recited what he was going to say two times over, He wasn't usually a man that was nervous around women, Nathaniel never usually took the time out to talk to them because he was waiting for her.

Nate peered down at the little thing but she was already beaming back up at him. Instead of reciting his little speech like he had planned all coherent thoughts had escaped him and he couldn't help but stare at his mate.

The woman placed her magazine on the spare seat to the left of her and swivelled to face part of her soul. To any human, it would seem odd to feel so strongly towards a person they have never met before but to two supernaturals it was the process of normal mating. Something they were taught at a tender to age to understand and comprehend how you would feel in the arms of your other half.

"You took your time" she hummed softly, almost like music to his ears, a soft smile graced his face. He couldn't hold it back if he wanted to. He had been grinning immensely for the last 2 hours and he loved the feeling of being so content.
