"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

Laila stood in front of me with her arms feet and legs apart, she looked like she was ready for war.  After we tidied up the kitchen she was eager to put on one of my old t-shirts and a pair of my shorts.

She raced me outside to a close clearing to show me how 'better she was than me'. She was cute if she thought she could beat me. I'll put her and Malaikat in their place. Archie also thought it was time to show his mate who the real Alpha is.

Archie didn't like to be disrespected especially by someone close in ranking, I could feel him through the bond. I know he and Malaikat have spoken which was almost impossible, they have never met.

Laila looked much better in my clothes than I did but I could feel she was getting restless being in a new place, as soon as I figure out how to stop her weird teleportation Ill let her go home.

I would imagine she looked beautiful in everything, her brown skin and golden eyes. Her slender body had got me wanting to do things to her I have never thought of, she was so small compared to me. But her attitude was anything but.

This is not how I thought I would meet her, up until those nightmares started I never knew I had a true mate. I'm being nice by calling those things nightmares,

"Are you thinking about how I'm going to beat your ass?" she shouted from across the clearing.

"I was going to go easy on you, I'm not so sure now. I shrugged for someone who can't control their powers, you're talking a lot of shit. You're gonna beat your own ass."

I couldn't stop thinking about her ass, that round...

I was thrown off my feet by a large gust of wind before I could counteract she threw a stack of logs towards me, but I was sharper. While sitting on the floor I pushed the logs spinning towards her.

Laila tried to take me off my feet by rolling a dead tree underneath me. With haste, I distracted her by rolling it back. Before she could respond I thrust my hand forward pulling her off her feet with a gust of wind.

"Giving up already," I knew she hadn't fought with anyone as experienced as me, she wasn't ready. "Laila are you okay?"

She stood up quickly, I had expected her to be tired but she is much stronger than I thought she was. But what I didn't expect were her eyes to be bright blue.

"I'm ready to go again,"

"Before we go again, try and control the colour of your eyes. I know it's hard. Think of them turning back to brown but hold onto the power that you're channelling from Malaikat" She nodded trying to concentrate.
