Finally I'm ready and head out towards the great hall. As I get closer I start to feel lonely as people walk inside with there dates. I see Loki walk in with the blonde haired stable girl. She was way better looking than me. I sighed and shakily walked inside. That's when heads turn to me, well the heads of the men. All I can do is blush, lower my head and make my way over to the drinks table across the room. From a distance I see Loki and the stable girl dancing, Loki looking up ever few seconds and smiling over at me. I watch them as they dance to various different songs, wishing I was in her place until she falls. Loki steps back from her and everyone stares. She goes red in the face, gets to her feet and walks over to Loki. But Loki shakes his head, even though I was far away I could see that she was about to cry and she did. Running out of the room leaving Loki without a date, I couldn't help to grin and so did Loki. He made his way over to me and took a hold of my hand. He kissed it and looked into my eyes.
"Would you care to dance?" He as a smirk grew on his face.
"Of course." I tell him taking his hand. Walking over to where other people were dancing, Loki took me by the waist and pulled me close. I rest my head on his chest as he begins to move slowly to the music. I move with him trying my hardest to follow and not fall over like his actual date.
"What was Fandral taking about when he said you killed your father?" I ask him looking up at him. I could see he didn't want to answer so I wasn't going to expect one. A few moments later he stops dancing and drags me aside.
"Do you really want to know."
He asks, his face serious.
"No secrets." I say firmly and Loki sighs.
"Ok." He says looking to the ground then back up at me.
"Odin isn't my father, he found me in Jotenheim and raised me as his son." His face became sadder.
"Your a Joten?" I ask.
"Half, my mother was not one." He tells me taking a step back.
"And I'm guessing you had to kill your real father because-"
"Because he betrayed my plans, that's why you never trust a king." He interrupts, his voice beginning to raise.
"You father was king Laufey?"
I ask but he doesn't reply.
"You don't love me now, I know that I should never had told you." He says walking away. I need to tell him that I still love him, but if I say this everyone will hear. I take a deep breath, he is only a meter away.
"LOKI!" I shout making everyone look at me and Loki turn around.
"I do love you, I love you more than anyone." I start.
"I don't care that your half Frost Giant, you can't help that, I love you because of who you are now not who you were." I finish, now everyone's eyes are on me. Then he turns away, tears begin to fall down my cheeks.
"LOKI LAUFEYSON I LOVE YOU!" I yell trying to hold back my tears. Loki turns around again and slowly walks towards me.
"You mean it?" He asks holding both of my hands in his.
"Every word." I say forgetting that the people of Asgard are watching.
