Chapter 17 - 'Dont Leave Me'

Haileys POV

You can run from someone you fear. You can try to fight someone you hate, or someone you think you do. But what happens when you love the one who's killing you? How can you run, how can you fight when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give your beloved, how could you not give it? Especially if it's someone you truly love?

Death is peaceful. I felt it... for a while. Nothing hurts when you're dead. All the pain just goes away, but the worst part of it all? So does the love. You feel nothing. There's no world to live in. It's just dark and quiet and there's just nothing... But it's peaceful.

All I remember is Harry telling me he loves me and falling off the bridge. Everything else is a blur. I know I'm in the hospital right now because I can hear all the stupid fucking doctors and annoying beeping of the machines. I can't move, see, nor talk. But I can hear. This fucking sucks!

"WHERE IS SHE!? IS SHE OKAY!?" I know that beautiful voice anywhere! Harry! I have to see him! Come on eyes, just fucking open!

"Oh my god... Hailey!!" He cries. I can hear his quick footsteps coming closer as he grabs hold of my hand. At least I can still feel his touch. "Hailey, I love you so much and I'm so sorry for being such a fucking ass hole to you! I wasn't just in this relationship for the sex and experience, I swear on my life!   I'm not disappointed that you've never had sex, for god sakes, I was trying to tell you! I was upset you were so willing to give up your virginty when we still hated each other! Hailey, I want to spend my whole life with you! Laughing with you, crying with you, just being with you! That's all I want and Ive been such tool and I shouldn't have acted that way! This is all my fault Hailey, just please come back! Please?" He sobs onto my chest. "I love you... don't leave me..."

I love him. I love him so much and I'm only able to do anything right now because of him! And that includes living. I slowly force open my eyes to see my beautiful baby resting his head on my stomach and rubbing slow circles on my hand with his thumb.

I slowly lift my other hand to thread it through his curls. I missed this. I see his body tensest this, he sits up and turns towards me in shock.

"Hi Harry." I weakly smile. The tears begin pooring down his cheeks as he gives me the biggest smile I've ever seen.

"Oh my god!" He immediately wraps me up gently in his arms, hugging me as if to never let me go. I wrap my arms tightly around his back as he sobs into the crook of my neck. I rubhis back as he runs his fingers through my hair. He pulls away slightly and kisses my forehead numerous times before he rests his head against mine.

"I thought I lost you.." He breathes out.

"Never." He smiles up at me and connects our lips. I missed this feeling, the spark that ignites my whole body. I kiss him back wrapping my arms around his neck and tugging on his curls. This kiss was nothing but passion, devotion, and unconditional love.

"I love you, Harry Styles..." I whisper as we pull away.

"Y-you do?" He croaks.

"Forever." I breathe.

He kisses me again before whispering "I love you too, Hailey Tomlinson." I look up at him with hopeful eyes. "Forever."

Louis' POV

She's dead. She's really dead! My beautiful baby cousin is gone! I can't believe I couldn't save her...

Well, I mean, she's not gone really. Yet. When she fell off the bridge Harry caught her but because of all the emotional trauma she was suffering through, she had a minor heart attack. She died... But they revived her. They said there was a slim chance of her living but it was still possible. I can't lose her... She's fully healed so if she wakes up, she can come back home with me! But the doctor said there's a very high chance she has slipped into a coma.

Right now we're all stuck in the waiting room and Harry's in her room, trying to wake her up. None of us are really aloud to go in but Harry doesn't care right now. Everyone has been crying and broken all night, even Zayn is still crying. I feel so lost without Hailey.

"Guys." Harry? Everyone shoots their heads in his direction. "I've got something for you." Oh. My. God.

As she steps out from behind him I cant believe my eyes. "Hi." She smiles.

"HAILEY!!" We all yell while running up to her and crying and hugging her! She's really here! And alive! THANK YOU GOD FOR SPARING MY BABY COUSINS LIFE!!!!!

"Hailey, the doctors told us you were dead!" Niall yells, giving her an individual hug.

"I am." She shrugs. What?..

"W-what are talking about?" I stutter. Her and Harry look at us in all seriousness then burst out laughing.

"I'm just fucking with you guys!" She says loudly, laughing uncontrollably. This is not funny and yet, I'm smiling.

"You're such a brat!" I say, smiling at her. She smiles back and wraps her arms around my neck. I instantly hold her back and lift her up and shake her around. Mainly just to see if she really was real and with me right now.

She still hasn't let go of me after a minute and Im really not complaining.

"I love you, Louis." She sniffles.

"I love you too, Hailey." I croak. Oh great, now I was crying too. "I love you so much. Never leave me, never again."

"I promise Lou, I'll never leave you again." She whispers. When she finally pulls away slightly I kiss her on the forehead and she smiles at me before kissing my cheek and going back with Harry.

"Can we go home now? I hate hospitals." We all laugh at that because Hailey really does hate hospitals, more than anyone I know.

"Yah, let's go home." Harry says, kissing her lips before they lead the way out of here. Hand in hand.

A/N phew!! Well that was an intense few chapters huh? I didn't leave any authors notes because it would've ruined the suspense and what not so yah but wow! That was the first like super big scene but not the last! Well Hailey and Harry FINALLY said they loved each other! how cute!! but yah, sorry for the cliff hanger but it had t be done my Oreos! love you allll¡¡¡¡ .xxxxxxx
