Third Person POV

•LOUIS + JASMINE•

Louis nervously waited for Jasmine at the park he had taken her to on their second date. The park was, in a way, Louis' sweet escape. Which is why he wanted this done here, in his safe haven. The boys were leaving to go on tour the next day and no one was looking forward to it. The boys had something planned, a heart wrenching, terrible plan. Which is why they were meeting up separately with the girls, totally unprepared to say what they had promised themselves they'd say. It'll be hard now but in the end... The girls will be much happier.

Louis twiddled with his thumbs nervously as he sat on the old wooden bench beside the pond. It was almost June now and the sun was high in the sky, illuminating the beautiful colors of the tiny creatures that swam beneath the water. Ducks with gorgeous feathers, waddled together along side the pond occasionally taking a quick dip to cool themselves from the warm sun. It was indeed a gorgeous day. Sadly it won't stay that way for much longer.

Louis checked his phone for the twentieth time, seeing Jasmine should be meeting him there any minute. He blew out a nervous breath, leaning his elbows against his shaking legs just as a small delicate tap was placed to his shoulder. He jumped in surprise before turning quickly, to see the welcoming and stunning smile, of the girl he loves.

"Jazz..." He whispered. She grinned at him, even more brightly, before taking a seat next to him and looking towards the little pond in awe.

"Sorry I scared ya Lou," she giggled lightheartedly. "I guess you were a little dazed but I can see why, it's such a gorgeous day and the pond looks so pretty." She looked back up at him with a small smile. Her light brown eyes twinkling in the sun. It made Louis' heart ache.

"It really is..." He sighed. "Jasmine, there's something I really gotta talk to you about." His expression was pained and his whole body was shaking. Jasmine had taken notice and intertwined her fingers to Louis' giving him a slight squeeze of comfort. She frowned slightly because she hated seeing her Loubear so worked up.

"Okay Lou... Go on, you can tell me." She assured softly. He nodded his head, clenching his eyes shut as tears began to well up in them. They had turned more of a gray colour than blue, emphasizing how Louis had felt inside. Dull. He shook his head sadly, slowly pulling his hand out of Jasmines and instead resting them both on his knees as he struggled for steady breaths.

His breaths were shaky and uneven and Jasmine looked to him, sadness evident on her beautiful face. Why had Louis pulled his hand away? She wondered. And then everything was happening at once. Louis slowly looked back up to Jasmine as a stray tear had strolled down his pale cheeks. Her breath hitched, heart clenching with sadness and fear as he looked at her with regret.

"Jasmine... I think we should break up."

•LIAM + MARISSA•

Marissa was taking her time, drinking in the incredible sight that is England as she drove to meet Liam for dinner. She was a little insulted that she had to drive herself but glowing with excitement for the night to come. All that had been running through her mind was an extravagant dinner with her wonderful boyfriend before he set off on tour for 4 months. The tour. Yes, she was upset about it and of course she would miss him but she knew they could make it work. Liam loved her, 4 months would be hard... But bearable.

Her grin had grown as she thought more about the date Liam had planned. Would they go to the London Eye? Marissa always dreamed of it. Would he propose? The thought had her head reeling, her stomach doing nervous flips. Basically the whole night was a total surprise, but she was in for a much bigger surprise than she could've imagined.
