Chapter 23 - Jealousy

Louis' POV

It's been two days since I told Jasmine I loved her. Two days since we made love and I've never been happier in my entire life. Its girls night and all the girls wanted to go see some new chick flick that was playing but Hailey wasn't feeling too great so she stayed home. Right now Im sitting in the living room with her and Harry watching The Avengers.

"Man I love this movie!" Hailey beams.

"Okay okay, babe, you have to be totally honest with us right now," Harry says, turning to Hailey. "Who are me and Louis most like out of the Avengers?"

"Hmm," she hums, thinking hard. "Okay Louis, you're most like the Black Widow cause you're a sassy little bugger." I chuckle because it's true. "And Haz you kinda remind me of Captain America, cause you're cheeky and hot!"

"Well you remind me of the Hulk cause you're scary when you're mad and you're so green right now!" I laugh.

"That's cause I'm sick you goofball." She slaps my shoulder playfully. Harry throws his arm around her and she nuzzles into him. I gotta admit, theyre cute! Im happy for them. But I still have to ruin the moment so I stretch my legs out across their laps and make myself comfortable.

Oddly enough they don't protest and its nice and peaceful for a minute or so until the door slams shut.

"Are they home already?" Harry grumbles.

"Nope, it's just me!" Kallista smirks, walking into the living room and plopping down beside Harry. Woah girl, there's not much couch there. Please relocate.

"Why are you here?" Hailey asks, clearly already annoyed.

"The movie got boring so I figured I'd come home and chill with you guys." She slurs. Is she stable? "But I may have stopped at the bar first.." Exactly. "So Harry, what are you guys watching?" She giggles flirtatiously. I see Hailey tense and I reache out for her hand. This girl is bothering my little cousin, I will cut the bitch.

"Ummm, The Avengers..." Harry mumbles awkwardly, gripping Hailey tighter. Good boy.

"Oooo, I love that movie! You picked a great movie Hazza!" She smiles, placing a sleazy hand on his shoulder. Hailey scoots away from him and onto my lap. I hug her and stroke her hair trying to comfort her. Harry tries scooting closer to us.

"Actually my girlfriend picked it." He smiles at Hailey.

"Mhm.. Well I just love the way your hair looks today, Harry." Okay, this is annoying me now.

"Uuuuhh..." Harry mutters, obviously confused. Hailey hugs me tighter and I hear her growl. Literally growl. That's it, Sass Masta to the rescue.

Haileys POV

Jealousy.

That's what I feel. Complete and utter jealousy coursing through me. I wanna cuss her out! But that would be stupid cause I still love her and she's drunk! Plus I trust Harry, so I just continue to hide my face in Louis' shirt. Harry scoots closer to us as Lou rubs my back soothingly.

"Mhm... Well I just love the way your hair looks today, Harry." She gushes. I'm gonna fucking strangle a bitch pretty quick here.

"Uuuuhh..." Harry doesnt know how to respond but I feel him grab my hand, letting me know he's mine and only mine. I was just about to say something when I'm beat to the punch.

"I think I'm gonna go grab a drink!" Louis shouts, making me jump. No! Don't leave. "Kallista, do you want one too? Maybe some water or something, you seem kinda thirsty." He smirks.

Oh. My. God.

Harry and I just burst out laughing! That was absolutely priceless! I tried to stifle it I promise but that was just way too good. I think I'm crying!

She glares at Louis for a few seconds before standing up. "Whatever, Louis!" She scoffs and storms upstairs.

"All hail the sass!" Harry chuckles.

"Yah, way to go Loubear! That was awesome." I beam.

"Anything for you, mini Tommo!" Louis grins, hugging me. Okay yah, I have the best cousin in the world.

Kallistas POV

I think I drank too much when I stopped by the bar. Why the fuck was I flirting with Harry? That's gross! And I wouldn't do that to Hailey. I feel like an idiot and I should really apologize. I think I'm gonna take a nap first though cause I'm kinda woozy. Yep, goodnight.

Nialls POV

Jealousy.

Why am I always so jealous when she's with him? I have Alyssa and I really really like her! And I'm the one who encouraged Hailey to go for Harry so why am I regretting it now? It's really bothering me because I know I really like Alyssa but I really like Hailey too. Love is stupid.

I walk into the living room cause Im looking for the boys and instead I walk in on Harry kissing Haileys neck and Louis passed out on the floor. Greeeeaaaat.

"Hey guys!" I shout. They both jump.

"Jesus Ni, you scared me." Hailey giggles. I blush a little but it's dark in here so I don't think anyone noticed.

"Sorry, what happened to Lou?"

"He fell asleep." Hailey shrugs.

"Well duh Hails," I chuckle. "I mean, why is he on the floor?"

"I shoved him off the couch when he passed out." Harry smirks. "He didn't even stir."

"Ah makes sense. Um, so Hailey are we still hanging out tomorrow?" Her and I are supposed to have an us day tomorrow. Just as friends.

"Wait, what?" Harry asks, looking at Hailey.

"Oh yah! Niall and I were supposed to go check out that new indoor soccer place tomorrow." She smiles.

"Why didn't I know about this?"

"Harry, I don't have to consult you with my plans, I can do what I want to." She scoffs. Oh great, here comes her inner Tomlinson.

"Not with other guys!" Harry shouts. Maybe I should say something.

"Are you serious right now Harry? It's just Niall!"

"Guys! Please stop arguing? Harry it's nothing, Hailey is my best friend and I have Alyssa. Plus I would never do that to my best mate! She wants to join football and I'm helping her practice." I explain. Harry relaxes a little.

"Yah babe, Louis and Niall are taking shifts helping me practice. Loubear has a date with Jasmine tomorrow so Niall offered to help me practice first. We're like brother and sister, you don't have to worry." She assures. Brother and sister? That kinda stings...

"I know but I just worry about you being out without me. I love you and I don't want anything to happen to you."

"I love you too Harry, but you can trust Niall. He'll make sure I'm safe." Hailey smiles.

"Yah Harry, I promise I won't let anyone lay a hand on her. She's apart of this family now, I'll protect her with my life." I promise. Hopefully that'll convince him cause I've been looking forward to this.

"Okay Niall, I'm trusting you."

"Thank you Harry." Hailey and I chorus.

"Yah yah, whatever." He chuckles.
