The Indominus' Return

Rain POV...

"I haven't heard back from Claire and Maisie yet. I'm a little worried about them!" I said with a concerned look on my face.

"Why don't you call them?" Carter asked.

"Because I don't have a phone!"

"Well, does Maisie?"

"Yeah. Back at the manor, though!"

"Where's the manor?"

"It's far away from here!" Owen said.

 "And how far to be exact?" Kat asked.

 "... Jesus, Kat! I don't even know! Claire, Owen, Lexi, Alli and I had to jump off a cliff to get to where we are now!" Owen replied.

 "By the way... Didn't you say that you had a Dinosaur as a pet, Carter?" I asked.

"Yeah... why?"

"Well, then. Where is it?" I asked.

Suddenly, I heard a loud roar coming from a few feet away.

"There she is!" Carter said excitedly.

"There who is?" I asked.

"Lucy!"

"Guess what?" Owen said to me as Carter and Kat got up and went outside.

"What?" I asked.

"Carter's pet... it's kind of difficult to explain-"

"JUST TELL ME!" I interrupted.

"Carter's pet is an Indominus Rex." Owen said.

I stared blankly at the wall for a second before getting up from my seat, and sprinting for the door.

"I have to see this!" I said excitedly.

Maisie POV...

I roused myself and realized that I was being held by giant hands that were bigger than Kara's. The hands were white though? Could the Indominus Rex really have survived that drag into the Jurassic World Lagoon?

I saw a light in the distance. It was the shop! I had finally accepted this as a dream... Until the thing I was being held by roared as loud as a Sperm Whale, maybe louder! At that moment I knew that the Indominus had indeed survived!

The Indominus walked a little more towards the coffee shop before gently setting me down on my feet. I couldn't help but collapse in surprise that the Indominus Rex was alive.

"Maisie!" I heard somebody yell.

"Maisie are you alright?!" I heard Rain say as he ran up to me and knelt beside me.

"You don't care about the Indominus?" I asked pointing towards the magnificent creature that everybody in the world thought was dead.

 "No! All I care is that you're safe," Rain replied. "By the way, where's Claire?!"

"Claire's still somewhere at the campsite that we found!" I said.

"What campsite? You guys found a campsite?" Rain asked.

"Yeah! And I think Ripper took her!" I replied.

"Where's Kara when you need her..." Rain said with a sad sound in his voice.

I looked over Rain's shoulder to see Alli and Lexi coming from behind the coffee shop.

"MAISIE!" Alli and Lexi yell before running to me and hugging me.

"We were so worried!" Alli said.

"Yeah! Alli nearly pissed herself just thinking about what might've happened to you and Claire-!"

"Why haven't you guys been in the coffee shop?" Rain asked.

"We were out back! We saw a baby Stegosaurus, and it was way too cute to resist going to it! We had a blast, too!" Lexi said.

"Oh..." Rain said with a sad look on his face.

I looked over towards the Indominus Rex to see Carter petting her on the snout. Carter looked over at my face and said, "Do you want to pet her?"

"Sure!" I said.

As I gradually got closer to the I-Rex, she became very wary of her surroundings. I was able to touch the tip of her snout before she suddenly bit carters hand clean off?!

"HOLY MOTHER OF GOT...cha!!" Carter yelled.

"Wait what happened?!" I asked enraged.

Carter began laughing loudly before Kara ran up, grabbed him, ran to the side of the coffee shop with him, and pinned him on the brick wall of it before staring at him with "I'm going to kill you" eyes.

The Indominus Rex wasn't too happy about this. She roared before running towards Kara and biting down on her side before throwing her! Kara landed on me. I screamed in agony as I tried to push Kara's unconscious body off of me. The Indominus Rex realized what she had done, and quickly came to help.

The Indominus picked up Kara and moved her to the side. The Indominus nuzzled me for a moment before roaring and disappearing back into the woods.

Ripper came out of the woods and Kara was with him. It seemed like they weren't hostile to each other, until Blue came out and attacked Ripper, kicking in Kara's instinct that Ripper was the bad guy.

Kara roared as she jumped onto Rippers back, with Blue on Rippers side. Suddenly, Ripper decided to "talk to them." Blue looked at Rain, snarled, and then ran away, whilst Kara looked at Rain and decided to run right for him.
