Reika's POV
Hearing the pervert's declaration I was quite dumbfounded. Even he received some reinforcement, they were still outnumbered. Besides, the pervert's situation was completely in a disadvantageous position for battle.
"Ha! Bluffing at the last moment aren't you?"
Clarissa-nee-sama said. She pointed her estoc at the large man.
"Amy!! Reina!! Take care of the mage. Lucia, Tsubaki!! You face the large meat shield. I'll finish the target myself."
She ordered. I glanced at Amy. She nodded at me when our eyes met. Without any delay we leaped toward the unguarded mage.
"Multiple - invisible mine."
I heard her muttered something. Our distance was around 2 meters away. I thrusted my naginata at her chest but suddenly I saw Amy's figure got blown back by several meters by an invisible force at my side. I widened my eyes when I saw the mage smiled at me.
"Wha-"
I suddenly felt an impact on my body. I was sent flying by the tremendous force and rolled several times till reaching Amy's side. I raised my head and looked at the mage's direction. She had a water ball and fire ball in her hands.
"Let's the show begin."
I heard the voice of the person who shouldn't have been able to move behind my ear. I widened my eyes and turned my sight to my side. I saw Ren Concerto was crouching beside me. He still have traces of wounds all over his body but there was no sign of blood flowing out of it.
"How-"
I muttered. He smirked and took out an empty vial from his pocket.
"Impossible!! You shouldn't have any items or herbs with you!!"
I refuted. I swung my naginata sideway. Ren gasped and tried to escape from the blade but it seems like he was too late. I sensed some feedback from my attack. I smirked. Ren held his flank.
I smiled. Ren suddenly leaped to the left. Amy, who aimed for a surprise attack behind him, missed her target. I moved toward him and aimed for an attack when suddenly the space distorted and exploded. I was sent flying again. I rolled few times. I managed to stop my momentum and readied my stance.
Ren smiled at me. Under his feet, i saw Amy was lying down weakly with a fountain of blood under her body. I widened my eyes.
Since when he killed her?!!
Ren smirked and extended her hand toward Amy's corpse. The pool of blood gathered and formed into a spear. He readied his stance and rushed toward me.
I gritted my teeth and braced myself. I gripped my naginata and resolved myself to avenge Amy's death.
