Neil's voice echoed in Avni's head.
Neil sat at the brim of the footpath almost on the sadak.
Whereas Avni sat on the footpath under the yellow brightness of the untastefully designed street lights .
Then breaking the silence ACP Sahiba enquired him about his melodrama , frankly his drunken act.
To which he laughed out and stepped into the room of self applause with a smirk.
I know , I know I am a great actor too. Another hidden talent! ;)
Seeing her deadly glare with an unmissable glee he submitted so as to save himself from the otherwise forthcoming punches .
Friends with punches !!
We all have friends . And that one sassy , untameable creature in every group who is ever-ready to kick her friend's ass.
But we can't deny that all these harmless kicks , punches and tight slaps are nothing but another gesture of friends to express love.
Neil then told her about his mischievous acts . His unadulterated and childish dreams .
Mai bhi kuch sapne dekhta Hun aur un sapno ko sirf dekhna nhi balki jeena chahta hun Mai.
Unhe band nhi khuli aankhon se dekhna chahta Hun .
Isliye Mai wo sab karne ki koshish karta Hun jo Mai karna chahta hun.
Jo shayad koi kabhi karne ki soch bhi na sake!
Mere sapne chote or Masoom hai par yahi chote sapne mujhe zindagi mai khushi dete hain.
(Even I see dreams and I don't just wish to see then but I want to live them. Not with closed but with open eyes. That's why I do all that what I want .
Things that some people don't even care to dream of.
My dreams are timid and childish but these small dreams give me the much needed joy.)
Avni was speechless the more she is getting to know about Neil the more she is in awe and admiration.
Awwww
Avni commented before she pulled Neil's cheeks and asked him if he was a human in real or an alien .
Beacuse boy! He seemed too ideal to be existent.
To which Neil just replied whilst rubbing his now slightly pained cheeks.
Ab sab Neil Khanna thodi hi na hote hain.
Truly he is one of a kind.
Seldom Avni would wonder if all this is foster but whenever she looked into his eyes her doubt would run away to a far far place .
Neil .Mujhe bhi zindagi jeeni hai.
Avni's plea made Neil's heart flutter. He could not decipher how fast they have developed an unfathomable trust and unbreakable bond .
Par jaise tum jeete ho waise.
His eyes twinkled.
And that was enough for him .
Hold my hand.
And take me away
To the sky
Or Below the earth
To Any place
Where we can live
Together.
Neil and Avni sat on Neil's Harley.
After putting on their helmets they drove off.
It was still dark. But the dark blue ocean and its milky foam and sounds broke the silence.
Where ? Avni wasn't aware but certainly she was excited.
With the passage of time her hands which previously rested on her thighs now swiftly found their way to his shoulders. And she put her firm grip on his broad shoulders.
Ude, khule aasaman mein khwabon ke parindey
Ude, dil ke jahaan main khaabon ke parinday
Their curved lips which lifted their cheeks into a hearty smile was all that was needed.
Oho, kya pata, jaayenge kahaan
Khule hain jo pal, kahe yeh nazar
Lagta hai ab hai jaage hum
Fiqrein jo thi, peechhe reh gayi
Nikle unse aage hum
Forgetting all the tensions all the bandishein they moved and embarked on a journey.
Hawa mein beh rahi hai zindagi
Yeh hum se keh rahi hai zindagi
Oho, ab toh, jo bhi ho so ho
A journey to find themselves . To find her in his world.
Both of them breathed in the scent of nature.
Avni realised they are in the outskirts on an empty road with trees and farms on both the sides.
They couldn't get whether the time went slow or fast but soon it was dawn.
Riding on an amazing bike with an extremely amazing person made Avni close her eyes and rest her head on his back.
She finally felt that she is starting to feel *alive*
