Within the span of a few weeks, something has changed terribly. The lives of Neil , Avni and their family.
While Avni prospectively has invaded his life like a violent storm and ended up being the gentle rain for his blistered heart. Unknowingly she has given him a reason to smile.
The way she fears kitchen because she feels she might burn the house or because of her oh-so-tasty food that can be used as a satisfactory punishment for any criminal.
How he loves the kind of look she gives him when he commits an annoyingly stupid act that-is-a-crime in her words. The flaring of nostrils and the red nose topped with her furrowed brows makes him want to take her right there and express his love. His Angry young lady thanedar!
For her Neil was not a person. He is an emotion, someone she looks upto as a man , a real man. Without even slight bit of effort he taught her to live again.

And somehow in the process from being the 'fearless ACP Avni' she has become the 'fun loving Avni'.
Not to mention his voice , expressive in all hidden ways.

Their families though apart are already one courtesy them. It was already Neil's Neela Ma and Avni's Shweta ma and Papa.
Happiness was all that everyone was expecting. But life has its own ways. Neil has always wished of getting that one opportunity and now when his much awaited stage performance is before he just couldn't decide. Couldn't garner courage to grab it.
Aware of the fact that it's the same party where Avni is also invited where Mumbai police officers would be present as well.
Avni tried to coax him into attending this party on the pretext of its masquerade theme , however he escaped on the pretext of Miss Daisy's urgent call.
