When I wake up I’m in a hospital bed, and Stiles is sitting in a chair looking at me.

“Hey, you’re awake.”, he says with relief. I give him a smile before asking,

“Stiles? What time is it? Where is- where is Isaac?!”

“Hey, hey calm down. You’re okay and so is Isaac.”, he says as he moves to sit on my hospital bed, “It’s like the middle of the night. Your Mom was here earlier but we told her to go home and come back tomorrow morning, okay?”

“Y- yeah, thank you.”, I say slowly, “Can you tell me what happened?”

“Yeah, but then you need to rest, okay?”, I nod and he continues, “Well basically after you passed out we drove you and Isaac here. Isaac was nearly dead and wasn’t healing properly. He’s been put into a coma to try to help him heal faster… And, uh w- well Cassidy is dead.”

Cassidy is dead.

“She’s dead?”

“Yeah, Derek had no choice. She was going to kill Isaac.”, he whispers.

After Stiles explained the rest of the story I told him to go home and thanked him for staying with me, before deciding to go to sleep and get some rest for myself.

Sunday 6th April

I was discharged out of hospital yesterday but we decided to come by to see Isaac, he wasn’t up yet but would be soon. Stiles, Allison, Lydia, Scott and I all sat in the cafeteria waiting, waiting for Scott’s Mom to tell us that he was awake.

We had decided that I’d go in last, to get the most time with him. But I was just so desperate to see him, when I saw Ms McCall come round then corner I shot up out my seat and the others followed.

Half an hour later they told me it was okay for me to go in. As I walked into his room I gasp, I wasn’t expecting him to be hooked up to so many machines and look so pale. He gives me a smile as I make my way over to him and sit on his bed.

“How are you?”, he asks me.

“Really? You’re in here looking more machine than human and you ask if I’m okay?”, I say sarcastically.

“Just tell me if you’re okay or not.”, he says desperately.

“Isaac, I’m fine.”, I say with a smile, ‘How are you doing?”

“Well I’m kinda bummed about having to stay in here for almost a week, but I feel fine.”, he says, and gives me a weak smile.

We talk for about ten minutes before Ms McCall says I have to leave.

“I’ll see you on Tuesday, okay?”, I say to him. He gives me a confused look before Ms McCall explains that he can’t have visitors until then and he sighs.
