Saturday 19th April

Nothing even remotely supernatural has happened in Beacon Hills since Cassidy, well besides the permanent residence of friendly werewolves. I feel like I've been able to relax, not have to worry about being attacked by something or someone.

I've just done my hair for the day when I hear my phone buzz so I get up to check it.

Isaac: Wakey wakey. Its date day. I'll be over in half an hour, love you x

Me: Wakey wakey? Its 11:00. See ya then x

I chuck on a cute dress with tights and cons before heading downstairs to wait for Isaac.

When I get into Isaac's car I see a picnic basket in the backseat so I raise an eyebrow.

"What? I love picnics.", he says innocently with a smile. I give him a kiss before we take off for our picnic.

Isaac was notorious for finding the most perfect picnic spots, so when he told me we would have to hike for a bit I didn't complain, I knew it'd be worth it.

Man, was I right when I said it would be worth it. We were at the top of a hill, surrounded by hundreds upon hundreds of flowers. Pink, yellow, red and even purple flowers surrounded us. Isaac set up the picnic right in the middle of the clearing so that the flowers completely surrounded us.

I could hear birds singing in the tree tops and small animals darting between the trees, but never coming out of them. It was like we were sitting in a circle of flowers and the trees formed the circumference.

"I found this place when I was running one day.", Isaac says softly.

"It's absolutely beautiful.", I tell him, taking it all in. We sat down on our picnic blanket and had lunch.

This time Isaac had made wraps for us and home-made apple crumble for after. We dug in and devoured all the wraps and then decided to go for a short walk.

"We can leave all the stuff here", Isaac starts, "I'll hear anyone if they get anywhere near it.", he says playing with his ears. I scoff and then climb onto his back before whispering in his ear,

"Let's go on an adventure."

Isaac hikes down the opposite side of the hill we walked up, taking detours of the trails to show me the view or little hideouts he had found. When we were about 20 minutes away from our picnic spot we stumbled across a coyote.

"I-Isaac...", I say scared.

"Don't worry.", he says light-heartedly.

"Don't worry?! Isaac there's a damn coyote right in front of us!", I say in a loud whisper, still on his back. Isaac laughs at me and I start to wonder why he's not freaking out about the possibility of us getting mauled by a coyote.

"Liz...", he says slowly, trying to cover up a smile.

"Uh huh?", I say terrified.

"I'm a werewolf?", he says, like it's the most obvious thing in the world, before he glows his eyes at the coyote and it scrambles off in the opposite direction.

"Oh...", I say before bursting into a fit of giggles.

I climb off his back and we both crack up laughing, he pulls me in for a tight hug and I whisper to him,

"You were right, everything will be okay."

"I'll make sure it is. Because I love you."
