"Maddie, what are you saying to her?" Laura asked, peering over her friends shoulder to try to sneak a peak at her conversation with Chloe.

"I'm just trying to act normal, she'll notice if I stop bothering her about Tom all time," Maddie explained, holding up her phone.

"Do you think they're going to tell us?" Harrison interrupted, "I mean, they must be dating, right?"

Lydia frowned, "I would hope so."

"Let's not assume that they're dating," Zendaya reasoned, "and if they are, Laura was right, they'll tell us when they're ready."

Her response was met with a chorus of nods, everyone coming to an agreement. As much as they hoped Tom and Chloe would trust them, they would hate to pressure them.

"Hey you two!" Jacob called out in a loud voice, a signal to the rest of the table to stop talking about the duo as they approached the table.

"Hey, sorry that we're late," Tom apologized, giving Jacob a weird look.

"Don't worry about it!" Lydia exclaimed, a giggle escaping her pink lips. Harrison, who was sitting beside her, lightly swatted her leg.

Lydia was known to be an awful liar. The only secrets she could keep we're surprise parties, because she was a massive fan of them, or when she knew something was really important.

Lydia got the signal and stopped talking, knowing that she would most definitely spill. The only secret she was ever able to keep was Maddie's surprise party, only because she was so excited for it.

They all ordered their food, going on with their meal as they normally would. Their conversation flowed easily, despite the entire group knowing about the kiss Chloe and Tom shared earlier that morning.

"Lydia, you okay?" Chloe asked, looking at her friend with a worried look in her eye. Lydia nodded eagerly, not trying to be the one to ruin the plan.

"You sure?" Chloe continued, confused by Lydia's silence. Normally she would've interjected multiple times already with a funny comment, or burst into a story that would snowball into hundred of sub-stories.

Harrison began to speak for her, when Lydia exploded.

"I have a confession! Tony saw you two kissing this morning and he told all of us, and we weren't going to say anything, because we didn't want to pressure you, but it was eating me alive and I'm sorry everyone."

Everyone was silent for a moment, looking at Lydia with a mixture of facial expressions. After a moment of shock, every set of eyes were trained on Chloe and Tom, ready to hear the story.

Chloe and Tom's cheeks were both flushed a bright pink, they weren't planning on explaining their relationship to everyone so soon.

"Well," Tom started, grabbing Chloe's hand under the table, "we're going to give us a try."
