Chapter 10: Heart

~BLAKES POV~

It had been a few years since Chase had come to Beacon, I was told that he dropped out, but I doubted that, he wasn't the type of person to do that. I don't know why I cared about him that much then, I mean, I didn't even when Weiss cheated on him, it was just confusing...

We were in Atlas now, in an apartment that we all shared, Ruby, Yang and myself shared a room while everyone else had there's.

"Hey Blake, you seem lost in thought, what's up?" I heard Yang ask me, so I looked over to see her standing beside my bed.

"Hm? Oh, nothing, just thinking." I told her, it wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the truth either.

"I think I know." She told me, so I was visibly confused at her remark.

"Is that so?" I asked, slightly worried that she actually did know what I was thinking.

"You know, absence makes the heart grow fonder, trust me." She told me, I knew she was talking about her mother there, but my situation was very different. I looked around the room in case Ruby or anyone else was in there, which there wasn't.

"How did you know?" I asked her, she smirked and sat beside me.

"It's written all over your face kitty. I had that exact same look when I was a kid looking for my mom." She told me, so I decided to go along with what she was thinking.

"Yeah, I do miss them..." I told her, pretending that it was my family I was missing. Unfortunately, she knew me too well to fall for that.

"It's Chase isn't it?" She asked me, I looked at her with surprise, she was actually thinking it was Chase.

"Why would it be Chase? I've spoken to him maybe...4 times." I told her, trying to convince her that it wasn't Chase I was thinking about, despite it actually being true.

"Look kitty cat, you may be able to fool every one else around here, but you can't fool me." She told me, I was admittedly getting nervous, I don't know why, but I was.

"You know, Chase and I actually had sex." She told me, and I got more mad than I thought I would have, I didn't think I cared about Chase much, but when I heard that I was furious.

"Excuse me!? You two had sex!!?" I yelled at her, then immediately covered my mouth.

"Oh my Oum! Blake has a crush on Chase!" She yelled, so I immediately looked at her to see her with her hands near her mouth in excitement. I had to deny it.

"N-No I don't! We've only spoken four times!" I told her, hoping that she was convinced. Unfortunately Yang is the most stubborn person I've ever met.

Ruby walked in the room a second later.

"Hey guys! What's going on?" She asked, I looked at Yang like 'don't you dare!'

"Blake likes Chase!" She told her younger sister. I was angry at the truth she told, angrier than I thought I should've been.

"No! I don't! That's not true!" I told them, trying to sound as serious as I could.

"She's even trying to deny it! She-She's blushing!! She's as red as your cape Ruby!" Yang told her sister, so I groaned and went face first into my pillow, Trying to block them out. I could still hear them, but it was muffled by my pillow.

A while later, maybe 15 minutes, we heard a knock at the door, which was weird because we weren't expecting any guests today...or many other days for that matter. I sat up straight and saw Ruby open the door to unveil General Ironwood on the other side.
