Recap~
"Okay here go into the deep stuff." Shane says while clapping his hands together.
Madison's P.O.V.
"So what's your background story?" Shane asks. I look at Bryce and Mikey. They nod. I breathe in.
"When I was little, about 5 years old, my mom started to argue and yell at me. One day it got so bad Mikey had to come home from Bryce's, and Bryce came with him of corse, house to be there with me. When I got older it got worse. When I was 8 my mom called me fat and ugly and I was worth nothing and that was why my dad left. In result I stopped eating or when I did I made myself throw up so I'd be skinny. At age 12 I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with depression and that I should stay with my grandparents while my mom cleans up her act." I say my voice cracking. "So Mikey and I left and stayed with our grandparents for a whole year. Mom got back on track and everything was going good for a while until she fell off the wagon and started drinking again. Mikey was 17 almost 18 at the time so he waited until he and Bryce were 18 and we moved out here. I'm here because I got my mother to emancipate me so I didn't have to live with her anymore." I say and wipe the tears that did fall.
Shane covers his mouth with his friends and I look at Bryce and Mikey they nod again.
"When we moved here I met Brennen. Brennen and Colby were this thing called Brolby and Bryce and Mikey were Brikey. They both hated each other so I was friends with Brennen and Bryce and Mikey hated it. I went to Brennen's party one night and stayed over even though Bryce and Mikey said I couldn't. Brennen asked me to stay over and clean and I did while he showered. Colby came over and I met him falling in love instantly. That night we snuck out to the movies together and then back to my house. Mikey ended coming home early and caught us. I took Colby home and when I got back me, Bryce, and Mikey fought really bad and a couple nights before I bought my own house. So I started packing for my new house and told them. It broke my heart to see them upset with me but I deserved it. After I moved out I continued to be friends with Brennen and Colby. Colby introduced me to his roommates and everything but he cheated on me and Brennen knew. I was devastated and upset so Mikey, Bryce, Charles, and Joey asked me to come stay at their house so I did. Joey and I developed feelings for each other and he promised me he'd never do what Colby did. We go on tour and I find out that Joey also cheated on me and this time the girl got her friends to jump me and put me in the hospital. Brennen and Colby came to see me in the hospital and after that I left the tour. I got back here and gave Colby another chance. One day Brennen Colby and I decided on a best friend day and to go out and eat but saw Amber, Joey, and all of the others. They said some harmful things so I left and went to the batting cages where I met Noah and Michael. I told Noah I'd go to the fair with him and Colby wasn't happy about it so he went out and got drunk. Noah kissed me and pictures were taken and Colby yelled at me. Colby came over and I told him that he and I were over and done with and he couldn't change my mind or my feelings. Now I'm here with you guys and with Noah." I say grabbing Noah's hand.
He wipes the tears that I didn't noticed that fell. I look back to Shane to see his mouth open and his eyes watering like everyone else who didn't know.
"I'm so sorry." He hugs me. I hug him back as he rubs my back.
"It's fine. Look how I turned out." I say smiling but crying on the inside. I look over at the guys and they're mouths are all open and some tears have shed. "What is it?"
"You have been through so much and we just think that it takes courage to tell your story like you are." Michael says as his voice cracks little by little. I smile and hug him. As I release from the hug I look at Shane.
"What else?" I ask and he starts.
"What lead you to want to be where you are and what you do?" He looks at me with curiosity in his eyes.
"Well I didn't want people to know my story just yet but I thought singing would help get my emotion out that I had bottled up, so I started singing." I explain and they nod.
"Are there any current issues? If you don't mind me asking." He puts his hand on my arm.
"Well my depression isn't to bad and my anxiety is not too well, but I am genuinely happy." I smile as they intuitively listen to me.
"Has your dad tried to be in contact with you or Mikey since?" He interrogatively stares at me.
"Um not that I know of." I answer honestly.
"Has your mother?" He asks and I shake my head.
Mikey's P.O.V.
When am I going to tell her that mom and dad did reach out? She will be so mad when I have to tell her. What if she tries to contact them?
Madison's P.O.V.
I look over at Mikey to see him very concentrated on his thoughts.
"Mikey." I say his name once to get his attention. His head snaps my way.
"Yes?" He asks coming back down to earth.
"Shane and his crew left for the day and will be back here tomorrow. Is everything alright?" I run my hands over his shoulders in a supportive way.
"Yeah, everything is fine." He smiles and hugs me. We get up and walk into the living room where everyone else is. I sit next to Noah cuddling up to him while Mikey sits on the other side of the room.
Something's up with him and I'm going to figure it out.
