Madison's P.O.V.
I wake up the next morning. My eyes are blood shot red and I don't feel good. I don't want to go to the show tonight. I get up and wash my face and brush my teeth. Someone nocks on my room door and I just yell come in. It's probably Bryce, Mikey, Joey, or Char, but the door doesn't opem like I'd expect. Wired. I open the door to see Colby and Brennen.
"Uh hey." Colby says looking at me. I kust look down, because my eyes are still pretty puffy.
"Can you please look at us. We feel bad enough." Brennen says. I look up and see that they look the same as I do. Upset and sad. I step aside to let them come in and they sit on my bed.
"Are you okay? I didn't mean to blow up like that." Colby says looking at me. I sit up by my pillows.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I say looking up and giving them a fake and weak smile, but at least I'm trying.
"Hey we are really sorry. We miss having you to talk to and having you around." Brennen says. I look between the both of them.
"What the hell is this?" Joey asks from the doorway with the others. I guess I didn't hear them come in.
"Uh they just came to talk to me. Chill out." I say jumping up quickly.
"Well we are now apart of the conversation." Joey says and sits down on the floor with the others. I sit back down where I was.
"Okay so before tour started and a little bit into tour Colby and I were texting and flirting, but then Joey asked me to be his girlfriend and Colby got mad. So he came to talk to me in person about it and Brennen...." I say trailing off. Not really knowing why Brennen came. I look at him with the "Finish my sentence" look and he did.
"I'm here to apologize about lying to you about Colby and I'm sorry for being a terrible best friend to you." He says looking at me. I smile and nod. I missed being friends with Brennen. He always found a way to make me smile on my darkest days. Being friends with Brennen and Colby made me genuinely happy.
"Well let me get this clear that, Madison and I are together. Like a couple." Joey says making himself very clear. I nod and so do the others.
"We just wanted to-" Colby starts to talk but once again gets cut off by Joey.
"I don't care, but you can't be in a room alone with MY girlfriend." Joey gets all defensive. I get angry.
"Joey they were just here to apologize! If you'd pull your head out of your ass, maybe you'd see that!" I yell taling up for Brennen and Colby. The four other boys look at me with a surprised look.
"I-" Joey starts and I look at him and he stops talking.
"Nothing is happening between any of us," I gesture to me, Brennen, and Colby. "Joey youbhave to trust me and trust them that they are here to apologize." I say calming down and stand between them. Joey hugs me.
"I'm sorry." He says and pulls away. I nod and they walk out. I turn back to Brennen and Colby and they smile.
"Thank you for that." Brennen says and Colby nods in agreement.
"Guys, I forgive you two." I say and they stand up happily.
"Really?" Colby asks smiling. I nod and they hug me. I hug back missing these days with them.
"I have a show to get ready for and you guys can stay here while I'm there, but after that we can hang out." I smile and they nod. I grab my clothes and change in the bathroom. When I walk out I see Joey, Charles, Mikey, Bryce, Brennen, and Colby all talking. I smile and they look at me.
"Ready?" I ask and they nod.
"I told them that they could stay backstage at the show so they didn't have to stay here." Joey smiles. I smile as he wraps his arms around my waist and puts his head in the crook of my neck.
"Well we have to go." Mikey says getting up. Charles looks kinda sad so I rush to him.
"Hey Char, are you okay?" I ask walking beside of him.
"It kinds sucks that they are back. I don't have my best friend anymore." He looks at me with a sad expression.
"Oh Char, you're still my best friend." I hug him and he smiles.
"Really?" He questions me, very happy, might I add. I smile.
"Really." I smile and we walk side by side and soon enough Joey walks on my otherside. So I'm in between Charles and Joey. I smile and wrap one arm around each of them. We arrive at the venue and go through the back entrance.
The four boys prepare to go on stage and I sit with Brennen and Colby.
"Well since I am in the middle of the performance, we can hang out unil I can hang out with you guys!" I say excitedly. They both smile and we catch up on some things.
"When we go back to L.A. you should come over. Kat and Devyn miss you bunches." Colby smiles. I smile to myself thinking; I actually have friends.
"Yeah and you shoukd come over to my apartment. Kobe misses you." Brennen says ans I laugh.
"How do you know?" I ask laughing. He looks at Colby and back at me.
"He looks sad when we talk about you." He says and I smile coming to realization that they talk about me.
"Awwe you guys talk about me?" I smile and they blush.
"I- uh- we- um-" Colby starts, but I start laughing.
"Hey its okay. I think about you guys all of the time, because I miss you so much." I smile and hey smile. We continue to talk until I'm up.
"Hey guys, I'm Madison Barone. Today I am singing two songs, one of which is Act Like You Love Me by Shawn Mendes and the other is Invisible by 5 Seconds Of Summer." I smile and start.
———————After the show———————
We are walking back to the hotel and Joey suggests we get food together. We all walk into chipotle and order. We all pay, well other than me because Joey insisted on buying my food, and we sit down.
"We really did miss being friends with you." Brennen says and Colby nods in agreement once again.
"Well you're both here now and that is what's important." I smile and lean into Joey. Overall today was pretty good.
