Madison's P.O.V.
"Hey, you guys wanna go to the mall?" Bryce asks looking at their friends. They all look at each other and nod.
I'm kinda iffy on going out. I don't want to face the press or fans yet. I also don't wanna stay here alone all day. Mikey looks at me and we get up and walk to the kitchen.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asks worried.
"Mikey I'm scared to face the press, paparazzi, fans, and others." I tell my older brother. He embraces me and I wrap my arms around his waist.
"Hey it will be okay. I am right there if you need me. Bryce and I will hold your hand if you need it." He rubs my back and assures me it will be okay.
"Okay, I'll go." I tell him and he smiles.
"Go get ready." He tells me. I nod and walk upstairs. I change into some pants and a casual shirt. I throw my shoes and Joey's sweatshirt on and walk downstairs.
I see the guys taking pictures on my phone. I smile and shake my head. They all laugh and Hayes continues to take pictures of himself.
I grab my phone and walk over to the couch and plop down on it.
"I'm tired." I groan and the guys laugh.
"Maybe you shouldn't have stayed up so late." Cam smirks from across the room. I flip him off and he does it right back.
"Okay children, I think I know how to keep her awake." Hayes says as he gets up and walks towards me.
He reaches down and tickles me. I shriek.
"Hayes!" I laugh and he looks at me. He pins me down and continues to tickle me. Somehow I manage to get out from under him.
I run to the kitchen and see Jack G getting water.
"Jack you've got to help me. Hayes is trying to tickle me. Hide me." I beg and he chuckles and picks me up and carries me to the living room.
He puts me on the couch and does exactly what Hayes did.
"Jack, you traitor!" I yell at him and he laughed I beat against his chest as he continues as if I'm doing nothing.
"Alright love birds, come on." Mikey smiles and we all go out and get into the separate cars.
I get in the car with Bryce and Mikey. They look back at led
"So can us three have a serious chat?" Mikey asks as Bryce is driving. Bryce and I give Mikey a small nod in response.
"What is it bro?" I ask and can tell there is tension.
"Madison, I'm gay." Mikey says (A/N i know this isn't true but it's for the book so just go with it). I smile at my brother.
"Oh my gosh Mikey. I'm so happy for you." I smile and grab his hand.
"That isn't the only thing," Mikey says and looks at Bryce. "We're sort of together." Mikey smiles. (A/N i also know this isn't true but it is just for the book)
"Oh my that is so amazing for you two. I'm glad you both found someone you love." I smile and pat their shoulders as we arrive at the mall.
"Okay so we will be split into groups of two. So you have to go with Hayes." Mikey says looking at his messages.
I see people staring and I instantly feel wired. Mikey notices and pulls me between him and Bryce. They both hold my hand and lead me into the mall.
We wait on the rest of the group. Once they arrive we leave in our groups. We have to meet back at the fountain at 3.
I walk awkwardly next to Hayes. He shoves his hands in his pockets.
"So where do you wanna go?" Hayes asks me. I look around.
"We could go anywhere. I'm sure I can find something where you want to go. I kinda need new clothes since...well...you know." I trail off and he nods.
Hayes, being the leader, leads us into american eagle. I smile and walk off to the women's section. I find a couple pairs of jeans. I also find a couple shirts.
I walk over to Hayes and stand next to him. I can feel people staring at us and fans secretly taking pictures.
"Hey are you okay?" He lifts my chin up. I love away from him a little and nod. He shops for a little longer in this store and then we walk off to another.
As we walk through the mall I keep my head down. I occasionally look up to see stores but that's about it.
"Hey are you sure your okey?" He asks and I nod.
"I just have t really been out much since it happened." I explain and he nods. She grabs my hand and leads me through the waves of people.
He leads me into our next store which is gucci. He wanted to get a few things. I didn't buy anything but I looked.
When we finish he says I pick the next store so we walk into PINK and I look around. I grab a couple pairs of leggings, I get 10 pairs of underwear, and a couple hoodies/pullovers.
I pay and we walk out. I look at my phone to see that Gilinsky texted me.
G🥴~
We are going to the food court. Meet us there.
I show Hayes and he once again leads me through. We make a short stop to the vans store on the way though. I get some hoodies and a couple pairs of shoes from there.
We walk to the food court to meet the two Jack's. They smile when they see us and wave us over. We walk over to them and sit down.
"Hayes, I'm going to go get my food. I'll be back. Do you want anything?" I ask and he shakes his head but he also eats up and walks with me.
"We'll be back in a second." Hayes tells the two boys as they nod, devouring their food.
"You didn't have to come with me if you didn't want to." I tell him and he grabs my hand.
"It's okay, I wanted to." He reassures me. I smile and we walk to Subway happily. We order and talks until so hear a too familiar voice behind us.
