CHAPTER ONE.

↳ Just Your Average YouTuber.

Ryan Trahan was always good at running, but he never thought he was good enough. Sure, he got top ten in most of his high school races, but that was only because their wasn't much competition for his small conference.

And now that he went to Texas A & M to run for the Cross Country team, reality hit him, and it hit him hard. Nights, he thought if this was the best decision.

All his life, he thought that college was the answer and when he went to college for Economics, he also thought that he would finally be happy and start his life. He already started a company for his "knock off Yeti" bottles, which people called, and he made YouTube videos.

Although he wasn't well known, he still believed that if he worked hard enough, he could possibly make a career out of what he did on social media. So when that idea ran through his head so many times, he finally decided to take action.

Ryan Trahan was going to drop out of college and focus on his YouTube and company. People called him crazy for quitting Cross Country and dropping his full ride scholarship to Texas A & M. Articles were written, saying how he was an idiot to think that he would ever succeed in that business and soon be back a few years later.

While Ryan looked over these articles, shaking his head and rolling his eyes every so often when he saw a comment made about his decision, he shut his laptop and continued to pack the boxes that laid in his small dorm room in an apartment that he shared with his college mates.

Why did people care so much about what he did with his life? It was his life to live, and no one could make those decisions for him. Ryan thought that college was dumb and overrated, and while most disagreed with that statement, there was one person who stood by Ryan's decision and decided to tag along.

Ryan Yerrow, a boy he met through the Cross Country team in college, wanted the same thing. Yerrow also found college a waste of his time, and decided on a Gap Year.

Both boys found their selves in a constant loop. Wake up, go to practice, go to class, go home and study, sleep, and repeat. While most people didn't find a problem with that, they did. Both of them wanted to do something with their lives and to find themselves.

So, the two made a huge decision. Although they loved Texas, their home state, they needed somewhere different. Of course, they wanted to go to LA, but they both knew that they couldn't afford that. So the two decided on Tampa, Florida.

They loved the beach, and Texas beaches just weren't doing it for them. They wanted to make this the best decision, so they bought an apartment in the city of Tampa.

So while Ryan packed his clothes and items in his room, he could feel the excitement and nervousness of moving out of the only state he lived in. He didn't know what to expect when he arrived there, and neither did Yerrow.

If the boys were completely honest, they were winging this whole thing. The two dropped out, only to move to a different state, making it an interesting approach to a new life.

"You ready?" Yerrow asks, coming into Ryan's empty room.

Ryan looks at this best friend, shaking his head yes. Yerrow grabs one of his boxes and walks down to the cart to take to the U Haul. Ryan walks backwards, looking back at his old room, and its emptiness. He takes a long sigh and walks out to the living room.

There, George, Theo, and Bret stand in the kitchen ready for the goodbyes. Of course, both the boys will see them again, but it wouldn't be for awhile. Ryan opens his arms, making the boys tackle him in a group hug.

"Good luck bro." Theo says, messing up Ryan's hair. "I hope everything works out. From all of us." Theo continues, mentioning everyone around him.

"Thanks guys." Ryan smiles slightly, giving them all one last hug. Ryan grabs his suitcase, and heads downstairs to his car to take the drive to Tampa, Florida.

Yerrow was already in the car in the driver's seat for the first few hours of driving. Ryan places his suitcase in the back of the car, and sits in the passenger seat.

"You ready for this?" Yerrow asks, putting the car into drive.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

While the drive was rather long, it gave the two boys to think for sometime. Most of their thoughts consumed of if this was a good idea. Sure, it was, but was it the right time? After all, they did just got up and left randomly.

Ryan looks out the window, noticing that they they were now in Florida, which meant only a few hours left. Yerrow was looking ahead, nodding his head to the beat of the music.

Ryan looks back down at his computer, editing his new video of the two leaving. He wasn't going to post this until next week because of all the craziness of moving in. He was actually really excited to post it for his fans. But something inside him made him rather nervous for the public to see the new change.

New change. Perfect. HOW MY LIFE CHANGED IN 24 HOURS, he titles it. He decided to make the narration in the actual apartment and add footage of the road trip.

It became dark and the boys were headed towards one of their friend's house, Rohan. Since their new apartment wasn't ready, they had to stay at their friend's house for the night, so the next day they can check in.

As they arrived to the house, everything seemed to sink in for the boy. Here he was in Tampa, Florida, which he had no idea why and he was making the YouTube a professional career.

While he thought over many things that raced through his mind, the fact that Ava Jones went to Tampa University never crossed his mind. In fact, it seemed so far back in his mind, that if he wasn't reminded, it would never come up.

And of course, Ava happened to live in the same apartment complex and her apartment straight across from the one and only, Ryan Trahan.
