coralline finishes my makeup and mists some setting spray on my face. eva sits on my lap watching the process be done, her round hazel eyes roaming everywhere and her dark head of hair frizzing out everywhere.
cora smiles down at me. "all done. you look beautiful, via."
i grin back up at her. "thank you."
lisa finishes my hair around the same time cora finishes my makeup and hair spray is put in it to keep it in place.
i retie my robe around my waist and stand up, setting eva on my hip as i look at myself in the mirror. i grab eva's chubby hand and kiss it.
"mommy looks good doesn't she?" cora pops up behind us.
i smile back at cora and sway eva's hand around.
"ah, you are going to look so cute in your little dress," i squeal going and sitting her in her pack-n-play.
ethan and i decided to fly back to california to have our wedding on the beach. i mean, why not? it's where he asked me on our first date. we wanted to have a night wedding so we could have the sunset over the water.
i exit the dressing tent, still in my robe and walk past the boy's tent. i stop and stare at the venue, taking it all in.

in about a half an hour i'm going to be marrying the love of my life. i've dreamt of this day before, never thinking i would have two kids in the process.
a pair of hands cover my eyes and a voice says close to my ear. "guess who?"
i laugh, immediately recognizing the voice. "i know it's you. and you know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding, right?"
he chuckles in my ear and replies, "screw that bullshit, i really wanted to see you."
he spins me around and his eyes widen. "holy shit, v! you are one hot momma."
"shut up," i swat his chest.
he laughs and kisses my lips, messing up my lipstick in the process. he intertwines our hands and pulls me a little closer.
"e, where's carter?" i ask looking towards the tent.
