Captain America: Civil War

Part One: Lagos

"Lizzi, you and Romanoff need to hurry up, we don't have all day!" Josie said through the earpiece. "We're already here." Lizzi said jumping off her motorcycle with Natasha. They take down the men with ease.

"I DON'T RUN LIKE THAT NO MORE ." Lizzi looks up to see one man throw Natasha in the hole of the tank and a grenade behind her. "No!" Lizzi says using her power to take the side of the tank off.

It blows up from the inside, but Natasha made it out. They run through the town, "Out if the way!" She yells. "Move it or get run over!" Lizzi says. They find the guys who have the vial and fight them off.

Lizzi pull out her gun as Nat get the one off the ground. "Drop it, or I'll drop this!" He says holding up the vial. Just as he says that, a fist collides with his head and a figure flips and catches it on her back.

"What took you so long?" Lizzi ask. "Had to help Wanda get some toxic gas out of a building." Josie explained. "You know, just another day of being on the team." She added.

"Josie, I could use some he-." He stopped mid sentence with a grunt. "I'm out, Steve in trouble." Josie said sending a force down with her ability which Wanda taught her. "I can't go one mission with having to save Ameria's favorite Man With A Plan."

Josephine's Point of View

I saw Steve and a man with heavy gear and a mask on fighting. As I landed, I saw him pull out something that looked like a sword out of his metal thing. I jumped on his head and yanked myself back.

"Well if it isn't the Avenger'S little bird." He said facing me. It gave Steve enough time to throw his shield at him. As he went to punch me, I took his arm and kicked him. "If it isn't HYDRA'S little bitch."I said sliding under the man.

We end up getting the upper hand in the fight, then I kick him just in the right place in the chest and he goes down. Cap takes off his mask to reveal- "Rumlow ?!" I state. "Hey Josie." He said, and I walked by Wanda.

Steve get into a heated talk  which ended up getting emotional when Bucky was brought up. "He remembered you, and you too."  He pointed at me, before we put his brain in the blender." Now I felt my blood boil.

"I was there. He got all weepy about it, until we put his brain back in a blender. Hewanted me to tell you guys something. He told me to tell you two, when you gotta go, you gotta go." He said.

Wanda came up and we both saw a bomb when he brought it into view. "And Your coming with me." "NO!" Wanda and I use our abilities to contain the fire surrounding him, I also added my own fire into it.

We sent him up and into the building away from everyone else. We then realized that people were still in the building after we released the power of the blast. "No. Oh God no." I said softly, my hands shaking.

"Sam, we need - we need fire and rescue on the south side of the building ." Steve said into his earpiece and ran off. Wanda and I stood there in shock of what we've just done. I heard the people scream, and that was when I fell on my knees. Then Lizzi runs up behind me and sees the building. "Josie, what have you done?!" She ask me.

                           Later in the Day

I was in the training room, destroying my 23 bag in the last 45 minuets. I didn't give a care in the world. I let my anger out on the bags, Steve taught me that. It helped me have a clear concise and a better mindset.

"I've just murdered people, innocent people who I sworn to protect."

*WHACK*

"I deserve this pain, I deserve to bleed, to hurt."

*SLAM*

"This isn't the first time I've done this, Ive made mistakes."

*CRACK*

"killed a lot of people, not caring who or what I hurt."

*PUNCH*

"I always thought of myself, and only myself."

*BLAM*

"But that was when I wasn't an Avenger, I was found, then I became an Avenger."

*WHAM*

"Now, I'm a murderer again."

*BOOM*

Josie said to herself, now ruining her 25th bag. She went to grab a bag, as she put it up and got halfway done, a voice said to her in her head, "Hey, Josie can you come up here." Wanda said to her.

She looked at the busted bag, "I'll be up in a few, let me change. I took out my comfy sweater and a pair of shorts, I needed to talk to someone. Lizzi has been avoiding me, I really can't blame her. She'd usually be the one I turn to in times like this.

"Hey, how are you." She asked me. "I busted 25 bags and my knuckles are too, I guess I'm fine." I told her. "I heard your thoughts while you we're on the punching bag." She stated. I looked down, "You're one to talk." I stated, looking up through my lashes.

"Sorry about that, but, I've done that before, however, now that I'm an Avenger, I now feel guilty." I said. "We both do,man you knuckles are bloody, did you wrap them?" She asked. "Nope. It helps me in real fights." I said.

That was when we overheard the T.V talking about us. We didn't realize it was on, then the king of Wakanda was talking about it

Before I lived in the United States, I lived in Wakanda, and T'challa, Shuri and I were together. Then I realized I was different, I had abilities after one day, out of the blue, it came to me, and got my ability not from this world.

That was when he decided it wouldn't be safe for me to stay. So I was assigned to a family in America, living a normal life.

"What legal authority do enhanced individuals like Josephine Night and Wanda Maximoff have to operate in Nigeria-." Then the T.V clicked off. I look to the door and see Steve leaning on the doorway.

"It's our fault." Wanda says, not even looking at him. "It's not true." He replies. "Turn the t.v back on, they're being very specific." I said. "I should've clocked that bomb vest long before we had to do it," Steve stated.

"he said Bucky, and all of a sudden I was a 16 year old kid again in Brooklyn." He continued and sat down with us. "People died." He started. "It's my fault." "It's our fault." I said patting his shoulder. I look to Wanda.

"It's on all of us, we all made the mistake, not anyone of us can take all of the blame." I said touching her shoulder as well.

"This job, we try to save as many people as we can, sometimes it doesn't mean everybody, but if we can't find a way to live with that.. next time nobody gets saved." He said looking at us.

Then we heard a noise, I reached for my knife, but saw Vision coming through the wall. "Vis, we talked about this." Wanda said . "Yes but the door was open so I assumed that-." He froze and saw all of us staring at him.

"Captain Rogers wished to know when Mr. Stark was arriving." He finished. "Thank you, we'll be right down." Steve replied. "I'll use the door," Vision said, "oh and apparently he's brought a guest." "We know who it is?" I asked.

"The Secretary of State."

Well shit.
